New Background Gallery Beta Build (Patreon)

Alright guys, we're excited to roll out the new background gallery features today to you for beta testing!  You can now unlock glossary entries to read in the background gallery, adding extra flavor, historical footnotes, and additional lore to the setting of the game.  If that sounds like something you'd like to check out, go ahead and grab the beta build (0.6.6) here:

This beta build features glossary entries for four backgrounds: the Trench, Town, Pub, and Pub Backroom.  There are flags now in the game that will trigger unlocking these entries, which you can buzz through to find quickly using the "ctrl" key... or you can take the easy road and use the Cheat Code to immediately unlock them all!  Only finding them the hard way will count toward your total glossary count, though. They're spread throughout all the story lines, so we hope this gives players another reason to play through the game again and again.

We're looking forward to hearing your feedback on these new features.  If things are stable in your beta tests, and people like the new gallery system, we'll expand the glossary entries to the rest of the gallery, and continue adding even more as we complete new chapters.  Let us know what you think in the comments, by direct message, or in the #project_feedback channel in Discord.  Enjoy!
