Upcoming New Glossary System (Patreon)

Hey guys!  Today I wanted to share with you a sneak peek at our upcoming clickable backgrounds feature that we'll be rolling out with the next major build.

As you play through the game, between certain scenes you will receive notifications that you have unlocked new Glossary Entries.  These entries can be read at your pleasure over in the Background Gallery, under Memories.

The background thumbnails with unread entries will be highlighted.  We've re-coded the background gallery from the ground up to allow you to pan around and fully explore them.  If you see a glowing object, you can click on it to read its entry!

Glossary Entries may include additional lore, a historical footnote, or just a funny anecdote.  None of the content will be story-critical, so don't worry about missing out if you miss some (or if you choose to ignore the feature altogether).  It's just meant to be extra flavor... with maybe a few bigger plot hints sprinkled within ; )  

The number in the top right lets you keep track of how many entries you have unlocked per setting.  The more story paths you play through, the more you will unlock!  You can also click that button to hide the overlay and view the backgrounds without effects.

We're still in the process of figuring out how to code all this, so the finished product may look a little different, but this is the system that we're aiming for.  We hope you like it!
