Hello Beta Tester Tier!

It's that time again! This month's Beta build features the entirety of Chapter 1, at long last linking us up to the Jessie content from the demo.  There's quite a few pathways featuring all three girls, so enjoy building those relationships with your waifu of choice!

While those brave souls among you playtest, we will continue to whittle down the hefty art-load for this build (you'll find some placeholder sketches in there in the meantime).  We've also begun to roll out animation for select scenery, so please let us know if any backgrounds are behaving strangely on your machine.  We are looking to finalize this build in early March, so in the meantime, enjoy the sneak peek and let us know what you think or if you encounter any issues!  We love your feedback!

Have fun!

I can't run the demo. every time i try an error message keeps popping up. saying something is missing. Every time I download it my Norton antivirus' auto-protect deletes something so that might have something to do with it.

During the scene in Jessie's bedroom, a bunch of sprites seem to be missing - things like FrameJOneNightStand_Eyes pop up instead. I'm aware that some scenes are unfinished but I'm not sure if this is part of the unfinished content or a bug. Also, a question regarding content - the Jessie route seems to link right up to the wolf tf scenes from the demo. Do either of the other two girls have TF scenes yet? Their paths always end before anything further happens and I was under the impression the initial TF scene was part of Chapter 1. Am I mistaken?

To clarify my previous comment, this is what it looks like: <a href="https://imgur.com/ASUAL0X" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://imgur.com/ASUAL0X</a>

Yes, those are placeholders for frames we still have to illustrate ^^; And without giving away too much, suffice to say Chapter 1 ends just before things get interesting. We've got Marion's Chapter 2 all written out and are excited to start building it once this is complete!

LittleNapoleon

Hm, sounds like it! If there's no way to tell Norton to return the file from quarantine, you may be able to Disable Autoprotect prior to extracting the files - that should make it dormant long enough to sneak the install through!

just going to say I love Marion and everything about her character and I just have to say that I was honestly shooken by her words during her argument scene at the end of the chapter truly amazing work. also during and after the church scene the taskbar that let's you save and load disappeared for me. the problem went away after I restarted the game and it hasn't come back for my second run so it might have just been a fluke

jpgreen

also during the picnic scene after opening up to Marion and right when the scenes ending with "she takes off down the rutted desire path towards her home" if you hide the texts there seem to be a sprite of hands holding at the bottom of the screen don't know if anyone else has had this problem

LittleNapoleon

I missed hiding that sprite, the sneaky lil' guy! Good catch! As to the window disappearing, this might be an effect of the "window hide" function, although it doesn't seem to happen in the developer version. I'll try it on a downloaded copy of the beta tonight to see if I can reproduce the issue!

Hey finally got a chance to do a couple runs and no problem besides the left sprite on the end of Marion picnic scene so good job ha. I got to say good job on Graces, I wasn't sure what kind of character she would become but when she opened up it really floored me on how much I can relate to her! I think I have a new favorite.... again ha! The writing was awesome so got to thank little librarian for that! The Marion's argument at the end gave me chills and I couldn't stop think after that Marion should maybe apologize for the "YOU couldn't save" comment, Seeing that I think that it is easily probably the worst thing you could say to Malcolm at the time. Can't wait to see more keep up the good work!

LittleNapoleon

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! Both LL and I love to hear that the writing is going in the right direction. Grace is definitely not your average girl. Nice to hear she's a fave. We'll address the Marion comment in her upcoming chapter — good catch. Hope you continue to enjoy the story!
