I have made a lasagna from scratch once in my life; the pan I used was too small for the result. It overflowed while cooking and set fire to the oven. Since then I have gone with store-bought lasagna. The most available ones of any size ("family" or "party" sized) are Stouffer's. Is it the best lasagna ever? No, but it is edible and vaguely Italian and what's better, it doesn't set off the smoke alarm (usually).

Recently I made a party-sized lasagna in the microwave. The instructions say to cook it in the microwave and then finish off in the oven, a process called "micro-bake" but it takes over an hour to cook that way and I am a busy Bearhemoth. I shoved the whole thing in the microwave and cooked for 18 minutes, then topped it with some additional Parmesan cheese.

A Stouffer's party-sized lasagna with meat and sauce feeds twelve and has over 3,200 calories - a nice Bearhemoth-sized lunch. In this video you see the aftermath of me eating the entire lasagna. I turn on my side, feel my enormous, swollen belly and talk about how it feels.
