There was a patron request - a video of me walking up and down the stairs in my house. Why do I live in a house with stairs? It's a lease and was available at the time that I needed it, when I was moving back into the States after living overseas for a bit. It's a nice little house, but unfortunately I have done some damage to the railing and walls by using the staircase. That will cost me when I move out. No one can claim Bearhemoths are inexpensive!

First the railing started pulling out of the wall. As a result of that, I switched to leaning on the wall. Unfortunately when you add 665 pounds of Bearhemoth Force™ to lease house drywall, it does not hold up very well! The wall is dented and squishy all the way up the stairs. Oops! It can't be helped, though.

I have a hack for getting up the stairs if I'm really tired or really full - using my hands and legs. It's not the most elegant way of navigating stairs, but it does the trick. I know it sounds like I'm about to fall over gasping; using the stairs after I've eaten really winds me. That's why I try to limit the number of times I go up and down the stairs, dividing my day into "upstairs time" and "downstairs time". Just for this video, I went up and down the stairs more times than I normally do in a full day. I certainly got some exercise.

There's a surprise about halfway through when my trousers fall down, and because I was doing laundry this morning, I am not wearing any underwear. Whoops! Unless I have my trousers cinched up around the middle of my belly, this is something that happens quite easily. Not to be deterred, I kick the trousers off and finish the staircase voyage in my birthday suit!
