I think it'd be neat if only to hang out - I mostly tend to lurk in discords but I think a place to post/chat about stuff would be neat!

Discord vs Twitch. Discord. At least then it's not bombing us with adverts and game-related stuff.

I think a discord server would be neat. Chances to talk, bounce ideas around and all that. Only if you want that, of course. Even without that, you could announce streams, maybe let us know of delays or other changes and such.

Discord is a lovely idea, but you'll need people to trust and deal with some who can judge the situation fairly when it comes up, like moderates and such.

I like the principle, it’ll allow you more feedback and more interactions. However you’ll need mods and it’ll take more of your time, so whether you choose to go with it or not, i’m happy.

It would be cool as a way to interact, no doubt about that. I personally voted no because I really don't like Discord as a communication platform, but that being said, if a Discord channel is created, I'll still definitely join :P

Discord definitely makes communication easier, although servers can get overburdened with channels at times. I’m on a couple art related Discords but I’m a ghost on them, ie I don’t post or interact there because there’s too many channels to sort through.

Looks pretty safe to say that's a resounding "yes". Hey! can I offer some advice? No politics. NO Vent boards! And if this server gets as big as i think it will, you're gonna want to hire at least one Mod.

Oh I am keenly aware of what politics can do to a discord server. Even if the channel is private, there's still usually troublemakers that love to troll them. It would definitely be a strictly "no politics" server similar to my streams. People who don't play nice would be promptly fired into the sun.

Subscribestar has an integration option just like Patreon, but I'm not sure how well they'll play together...we'll have to wait and see!
