Announcement: New billing method (Patreon)

Hi all, I've changed my billing method to the new one that Patreon has released. Previously, all patrons will be charged the moment they pledge — and then again on the 1st of every month. This means that pledging on the 31st is a terrible idea because you'd just get charged again the next day.

With this new billing method, your billing date will be the same date as the one you pledged on. This is how Patreon puts it:

BILLING SCHEDULE "Patrons are charged on the day they join your membership, and then monthly on that same date. For example, if a patron joins on the 10th, they’ll be charged on that day, and then monthly on the 10th. All patrons who joined before your switch to subscription billing continue to be charged on the 1st of each month."

I'm no expert on economics, but this seems like a much more consumer-friendly option, so I'll be adopting this method from now on. This will only affect incoming patrons though, so it won't affect the majority of you. But please let me know if you have any queries! Just kidding, I probably wouldn't know how to help you :-)
