케모켓, 일본 여행 후기

작년 5월 도쿄 케모켓 이후로 두 번 째 결전을 준비 했다.

아쉬운 부분이 많아 이번엔 좀 더 제대로 하고 싶었다.

After last year's Tokyo Kemoket in May, I prepared for the second showdown.

There were many regrets, so I wanted to do it properly this time.

나는 욕심이 많다.

일년 중 한달은 쉬고 싶기도 했고, 나도 방학을 가지고 싶었다.

I am ambitious.

I wanted to take a break for one month out of the year, and I also wanted to have a vacation.

쉬는 한 달을 좀 더 의미있게 만들고 싶었다.

I wanted to make the month of rest more meaningful.

온종일 이런 꼴로 똑같은 생활 패턴을 유지하는 건 퍽 힘든 일.

정신적인 스트레스가 힘들다.

It's quite challenging to maintain the same daily routine like this all day long.

The mental stress is tough.

그래서 이번 오사카 케모켓을 계획했다.

이번엔 나 혼자 하는 모험이 아니라, 주변 친구들을 끌어들이고 싶었다.

단순한 행사 참여 뿐만 아니라, 많은 친구들과 여행을 하는 것이다.

So I planned for this Osaka Kemoket.

This time, I wanted it to be more than just my own adventure; I wanted to bring along friends from around me.

It's not just about attending an event; it's about traveling with many friends.

여섯명이 3서클을 신청했다.

결과는 한 서클만 합격..

Six of us applied for three circles.

The result? Only one circle got accepted.

이번 오사카 케모켓은 합격 발표가 상당히 늦었다.

그래서 모두가 행사 준비를 하되, 합격된 서클 쪽으로 판매상품을 몰아 넣기로 했다.

그러나 염려했던 최악의 상황 중 하나,

한 부스만 통과되고 여섯 명의 상품이 한 부스에서 판매되기로 된 것..

So, everyone prepared for the event, but we decided to concentrate the merchandise towards the booth that got accepted.

However, one of the worst-case scenarios we feared happened: Only one booth passed, and the merchandise of all six of us ended up being sold there.

어떻게든 해보자..

모두가 행사를 위해 열심히 준비했다.

한명이라도 낙오되기엔 이미 너무 많은 준비를 했다.

Let's try to figure something out.

Everyone worked hard preparing for the event.

It's too much preparation already for anyone to be left out.

계획대로 여행을 시작.

Starting the trip as planned.

부산 김해 공항을 이용하기 전, 지인의 친구를 부산에서 만났다.

일본에 간 건 아니지만 한국엔 이미 일본식이 많다.

서면, 어딘가에서 사먹은 사케동.

맛은 있지만 요즘 물가를 반영한 건지 양이 적다.

Before using Busan Gimhae Airport, I met a friend of a friend in Busan.

 Even though I didn't go to Japan, there are already many Japanese influences in Korea.

In Seomyeon, somewhere, I had a Saké-don.

 It tasted good, but I wonder if the portion was reduced due to recent price increases.

공항 근처에서 하룻밤을 묵고,

새벽 6시에 공항에 도착했다.

I stayed overnight near the airport and arrived at the airport at 6 a.m.

평일이라 그런지 엄청 한산하다

내 비행기는 8시 30분에 출발이었다.

It was unusually quiet, perhaps because it was a weekday.

My flight was scheduled to depart at 8:30 a.m.

부와아아아앙

Arrived in Japan!

전철로 시작하는 오사카 공항

Starting at Osaka Airport by train.

오사카는 바다의 도시다.

Osaka is a city by the sea.

도착하자마자 간 곳은 쿄토 아라시야마.

지인이 잠깐 다른 친구를 만나야 했다.

오사카 공항에서 두 시간 정도 걸렸다.

As soon as I arrived, I went to Arashiyama in Kyoto.

My acquaintance had to meet another friend briefly.

 It took about two hours from Osaka Airport.

체감상 한국보다 햇볕이 20프로 정도 더 밝다.

The sunlight feels about 20% brighter than in Korea.

자연 좋아.

I like nature.

나무 좋아

And trees.

유명한 다리

The famous bridge.

울창한 대나무 숲

The dense bamboo forest.

사람이 많다.

It's crowded.

재밌다.

It's fun.

맛있다.

한국의 조청소스가 생각난다.

좀 더 머물고 싶었지만 시간약속이 있었던 관계로 당고를 섭취하는 것을 마지막으로 쿄토 여행은 끝났다.

It's delicious.

 Reminds me of Korean rice sauce.

 I wanted to stay longer, but due to a prior commitment, my Kyoto trip ended after having this as a last meal.

집으로 가는 길.

엄청난 규모의 상가 거리다.

우린 오기마치 역 근처 에어비엔비 숙소에 묵었다.

The way back home.

It's a massive shopping street.

We stayed at an Airbnb near Ogimachi Station.

너무 먼 거리를 이동했던 탓에 더 사진을 찍을 기운이 나지 않았다.

오사카에 온 첫 날 나는 숙소에서 거의 죽어 있었다.

Due to the long distance traveled, I didn't feel like taking more photos.

On the first day in Osaka, I was practically dead at the accommodation.

2일 차

Day 2

덴덴 타운에 갔다.

I went to Den Den Town.

사람이 많았다.

It was crowded.

계란에 닭고기를 곁들인 오야꼬동을 먹었다.

토마토를 추가해 먹었더니 피자 맛이 난다.

맛있다.

I had oyakodon with chicken and eggs.

 Adding tomatoes made it taste like pizza.

It's delicious.

덴덴타운엔 무수히 많은 샵이 있다.

밀리터리 샵에 왔다.

Den Den Town has countless shops.

I visited a military shop.

한국은 총기소지가 불법이라 이런 샵을 본 적이 없다.

직접 이렇게 많은 총을 본 건 처음이다.

In Korea, gun possession is illegal, so I've never seen a shop like this.

It's my first time seeing so many guns in person.

역시 덕질의 왕국

무수한 꾸밀것들이 있다.

As expected, it's a kingdom for hobbyists.

There are countless things to customize.

가게 여기저기를 탐험하던 중 브로 피스트.

While exploring the shop, I did a bro fist.

몬스터 헌터 카페에 왔다.

몇 주전에 예약하고 왔다.

I came to the Monster Hunter Café.

I made a reservation a few weeks ago.

본인은 몬스터헌터 월드를 좋아했다.

I liked Monster Hunter: World.

에피타이저. 믿을 수 없겠지만 먹는 거다.

Appetizer. Believe it or not, it's edible.

올...

아쉽게도 들어볼 수는 없다.

Wow...

Unfortunately, I can't hold it.

기본으로 시켜야하는 플레이트.

The plate you have to order as a basic.

음료가 맛있다.

The drink is delicious.

몬스터 헌터 라이즈의 '그 당고'

쫀득하다.

It's chewy.

양이... 너무... 적어...

방울 토마토 기준으로 얼마나 작은지 가늠해보길 바람

맛은... 이곳에선 분위기로 먹는 것 6w6..

몬스터헌터 게임 팬이라면 한번즘은 와볼만한 곳이라 생각한다.

The portion... is too... small...

For reference, it's tiny compared to a cherry tomato.

The taste... well, you're here for the atmosphere 6w6...

If you're a Monster Hunter game fan, it's worth visiting at least once.

셋 째 날 - 이벤트 당일 날

Day 3 - The day of the event

잠을 일찍 자서 컨디션은 좋았다.

I went to bed early, so I felt good.

행사장 가는 길.

바다가 보인다.

On the way to the event venue.

I can see the sea.

비가 오기 시작.

It started to rain.

부스에는 원래 2명 밖에 서있을 수 없었고, 나머지는 전부 일반 참가로 입장해야 했다.

Only two people were allowed to stay at the booth, and the rest had to enter as general participants.

 비가 많이 오기 시작, 줄을 서기 위해 이동했다.

It started to rain heavily, so we moved to get in line.

난 비가 싫어...

특히 이런 날엔..

I hate the rain...

Especially on days like this...

행사장에선 사진 촬영이 금지다.

사진을 전혀 찍지 못했지만 결론만 말하자면 그런대로 다들 잘 팔았다.

엽서, 키링, 아크릴 스탠드 같은 굿즈는 많이 팔지 못했다.

이건 도쿄 케모켓 때와는 조금 달랐다.

책은 대체로 마진을 남긴 편.

많은 준비를 했지만 사용을 못한 경우도 있었고, 와이파이가 잘 터지지 않아 팀원들 간에 소통애 문제가 있었다.

사람이 너무 많았던 탓이다.

Photography was prohibited at the event.

Although I couldn't take any pictures, to sum it up, everyone did reasonably well with sales.

We didn't sell many goods like postcards, keyrings, and acrylic stands.

This was a bit different from the Tokyo Kemoket.

Books, on the other hand, generally made a profit.

Even though we prepared a lot, some things couldn't be used, and communication among team members was problematic due to poor Wi-Fi.

There were just too many people.

밥먹다가 보고 감동받아서 울어버렸다.

I received a gift from a fan.

I was moved to tears when I saw it while eating.

뒷풀이를 위해 목욕을 하기로 한 우리들.

소라니와라는 벤텐초역 근처의 목욕탕이다.

기모노를 입고 돌아다닐 수있다.

We decided to take a bath for the after-party.

Soranewa is a bathhouse near Bentencho Station.

You can walk around wearing a kimono.

족욕할 수 있는 곳

A place where you can enjoy a foot bath.

비가 조금 오고 있었는데 운치 있다.

It was raining a bit, which added to the atmosphere.

약소한 간식거릴 끝으로 이벤트날이 마무리되었다.

The event day concluded with a modest snack.

마지막 날

Last day of the trip

해유관이라는 오사카의 아쿠아리움을 찾았다.

입장료는 아쿠아리움만 해서 명당 2700엔

We visited the Osaka Aquarium, also known as Kaiyukan.

The admission fee for the aquarium alone was 2,700 yen per person.

엄청난 규모.

수조 하나하나가 예뻤다.

The scale was immense.

Each tank was beautiful.

그중 명물은 이 녀석

The main attraction was this guy.

고래상어다.

어릴 때 좋아했다.

It's a whale shark.

I liked them when I was young.

실제로 한번은 봐보고 싶었다.

여기서 보게 될 줄은 사실 몰랐다.

한참을 넋놓고 바라봄.

I always wanted to see one in person.

I didn't expect to see it here.

I spent a long time just staring at it in awe.

아쿠아리움 감상이 끝나고

After finishing our tour of the aquarium,

근처에 있던 커다란 관람차를 타고 오사카 경치를 구경했다.

그렇게 끝난 오사카에서의 마지막 스케쥴.

We rode the large Ferris wheel nearby and enjoyed the view of Osaka.

That concluded our final schedule in Osaka.

도쿄 여행에 비해 별 생각이 없었던 건 아마 다른 신경쓸 거리가 많아서였을 지도 모른다.

머리를 비우고 싶었던 걸지도..

아무튼 재밌었다.

Compared to my Tokyo trip, I didn't have many thoughts about this one, probably because there were so many other things on my mind.

Maybe I just wanted to clear my head.

Anyway, it was fun.
