Rewriting - Done! As I mentioned a few posts ago I got uncomfortable doing the game in 2nd person. "You feel X" just made me worry players would get annoyed I was telling them what their character felt. I tried rewriting in second person "She felt X" but it felt awkward to me. So I did what I probably should have done and changed it to first person, just like my comics. "I felt X". After that, it flowed really smoothly.

Renders - I redid the renders for the main character except for the prologue. That still has the old hair and look for the character but I was able to explain it to due to [SPOILERS!] I also redid the renders for most of the other characters as well. I still need to redo renders for some bandits you encounter early on but it should be quick and easy.

Game programming/work - While going through the above I discovered I'd done something silly for the "facesets". Those are pictures that show when text boxes pop up with dialogue. It's a super easy fix but low on my priority list because it just means they have a blue background right now instead of a white one.

I also finished the "skip intro" bit of programming. This just lets you do what it says if you decide to replay the game but don't want to sit through the intro again and just want to get right to playing. It gives you some basics that sort of assumes you went through the intro and  missed all the secrets you can find. It also assumes you win a fight that finishes off the intro.

I designed a map I really needed to get into the game and made a new NPC for it. His super pale look may or may not be a hint to his true nature!
