UPDATE (Oct 2022):: This is an Update of one of my much older Fluffi Fashionista's... I've cleaned up the linework, reworked the colours and added a few shadows. (I've posted the before & after, below).

Man, Speed Racer sure looks different without the nostalgia goggles (I kid, I kid. XD) Seriously, this is fantastic looking. That helmet design as well! Good grievance, the strategic placement of the holes is glorious! Makes me wonder what the pit-crew would be doing during stops ;p Magnificent work miss K@T

Thanks StL, I’m happy you liked how it turned out and that it helped make your weekend.... :D I’m still trying to find a stylistic balance, but because I’m not having to spend weeks researching, planning, refining line work etc, it does mean I’m able to create these images a lot-lot quicker, and hopefully improve a lot quicker as well. :)

Honestly part of what i always adored about the media associated with that speed-racer movie from 2008 was the sheer creativity in the design of the cars. I think the PS2 racing game actually had some really nice pink girly cars I could see this sissy driver race around. Maybe with a built-in vibrator or 'piston dildo' that would be tied to the car's speed? Just something to encourage going fast. Agh, this is what i enjoy about these themed works, they're so unique that ideas for the world around them just float to the top of the mind the moment you look at them. Great work! Also scarf? - YES! I think it'd be immensely fashionable.

I actually watch the Speed Racer Movie for the first time a few months ago while I was laid-up with a very painful ear-issue... I cannot remember much of it, but I think I liked it... With a particular high moment when I realised 'George' from Hart of Dixie was in it. :D Ooow, I will have to go back and have a look for the pink cars featured, I really don't recall those at all, so I really must not have been feeling well. ^_^

Actually they appear in the console-game. Trixie gets a particularly snazzy looking pink and black car and there's a few other characters with very feminine and outgoing designs on their vehicles. And I can imagine that, Everytime I ask my friends how they would summarize the movie it's "like a fever-dream with hot-wheels... but fun!"

Wait, there was a character called Trixie?!? Wow, I really don't rememeber that movie. ^_^; A Fever Dream with Hot-Wheels feels like a very accurate description... and since I watched it while having a Fever, I guess it really added to the 'Fever Dream aspect'. :D
