Dear Pink & Fluffi Patrons...

Firstly... I'm currently working on/ editing the Line-Arts for the Next Part of the Suckretary, which I should hopefully be posting later on this week (possibly the weekend). :)

Secondly BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I would like to once express My Sincerest & Truly Humbled Gratitude towards ALL OF YOU for your incredible and insanely Generous Support over these past 4+ years.

This past weekend, Thanks to ALL OF YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT, I was able to buy something which has been a figment of soooo many of my Day-Dreams for almost a Decade.

I was able to purchase a portable drawing tablet, (In this case an iPad, Pencil & Procreate Art Program)...  :D:D:D

For years even before I owned the Cintiq, I loved the idea of being able to curl-up on my sofa or in bed and just draw. As much as I love my Cintiq, there are times when I want to draw something without being tied to my desk for days/ weeks at a time.

... And the thought of being able to draw 'Anywhere' makes me sooooooo insanely Happy. :D:D:D I honestly cannot remember the last time I was this excited to draw. :D

I still have several hours of 'Procreate Tutorials' to view & learn and I've been very pleasantly surprised by just how intuitive procreate seems to be.

The (above) Test Image/ Attached *Video* Image (below) were created after watching a 20 minute 'procreate basics tutorial', so hopefully the only way is up. :D

I'll continue to work with my Cintiq and PC, because there's still so, soooo many aspects of the Images I create which require things I only know how to do on the PC. Still, being able to just Draw & Colour Anywhere without having to carry around a whole Art-Case of Items, feels Amazing! :D:D:D

At this point my main aim to to gain a better understanding of the brushes and what each of them can do as well as which parts of my current drawing techniques I can and cannot use on the ipad... In anycase I'm especially Loving the *Pencil* brushes. ^_^

THANK YOU ALL,  TO EACH & EVERY PiNK, FLUFFI & BOUNCY ONE OF YOU!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU...

KaT ^_^

P.S. One of the wonderful features Procreate seems to have, is being able to record the process of an image being created... So I've attached (below) the ViDEO for the above image. :)

P.P.S.THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! :D:D:D

The video was absolutely fantastic! and I would recommend you showcasing more of your work like that. Judging from the sample of your work here, this was a very wise investment. I love the technique and medium you used. As I think it better showcases your raw talent and erotic fashion creativity. Kudos to you K@T!

Thank you STL, I'm very pleased to hear the video made for enjoyable viewing. :D Depending on how well I do with the all the tutorials and my understanding of where everything is and how it works, I may give the upcoming Sissy Pin-Up a try on Procreate, as it would be wonderful to be able to include the video process after completing such an image. :) It feels like I'm working in my sketchbook, only with all the digital tools at my finger tips, its Wonderful, I feel like a kid at Christmas. :D:D:D

You happiness makes me happy. I'm glad to have played a tiny part in it all.

K@T, that was very interesting to watch your process. It's so different than mine! I also totally relate to what you mean about not being tied to your cinque. Most days I can't believe how lucky I am to get to draw for a living, and even how lucky I am to have this amazing and wonderful technology (the cinque). But still, I feel tied to it sometimes, and I've fantasized about having a portable tablet. My worry has become that I'd buy some nice thing, then the "novelty" of it would wear off in a couple of months and I'd never end up using it. Will you let us know if it continues to be a nice tool so I can decide whether to buy something or not? Heheh. Thanks for being a wonderful artist and sharing your work with our community, and congratulations on your new toy!

Thank you for the Congratulations Jizelle. :D:D:D My working process tends to change with each different type of image I’m creating. With the fashion illustrations I do try to work in a looser manner. At the moment its more ‘hit & miss’ than I would like, but I would like to think I’m getting ‘there’ or atleast ‘somewhere’. :) Regarding the Novelty Effect... Honestly I thought the same thing as well, worrying about the novelty wearing off... It’s one of the reasons it’s taken me almost a year to take the plunge. So far so good... Ironically I’ve spent the past 2-3 hours working on the ipad ‘at my desk’, just practising using the ‘acrylic effect brush’ to paint a portrait. ^_^ But if I didn’t have it, I already know that I wouldn’t have spent the past 2-3 hours just doodling away working on a portrait image. My hope is to one day be able to work entirely from the tablet, I don’t know if that day will even happen, as editing type-face on the tablet is much less convienent, but then again, I really don’t know what I’m doing-yet in Procreate (or any of the programs for that matter). :D I will be sure to post an update in the coming months, Jizelle. :)

You should have been a fashion designer. I love some of the clothing designs for these characters.

katscandy
