Dear Prissy Flouncy Pink & Bouncy Patrons...

This past week I managed to exceed my All-Nighter working record, (Not sure if I should feel happy & proud or concerned by this) having worked through the night 5 or 6 days over this past week, I'm not entirely sure which, as at this point the days are mixing and blending in to one long day. ^^

I'm finally working on the final stages of the Pin-Up, the Shadows and Highlights! Although I'm kind of dreading shadowing the Flowers, as there's around 70-80 flower-heads on the character, so it's going to be another 1-3 days before its ready to post. ^^

POSSiBLE SUCKRETARY DELAY::

I had hoped to post the Southern-Belle Pin-Up on this past Friday 24th Jan...

... HOWEVER since that didn't happen, I'm very sorry to say if I don't manage to finish this image by Tomorrow (Monday 27th Jan 2020), then (much to my disappointment)  I will have to Push-Back the posting of 'The Suckretary's introductory Story-Image, to the Following Week'.

As there's 4-5 days of work I still need to-do on the first post for the Suckretary and I don't want to rush & prematurely post the page before I'm 100% happy with it.

it look great but please do take a break and maybe a nap cause if your breaking all nighter records it might be a bit bad for you

All-nighters is bad sign, You need to put yourself on very strict work schedule so your long-term health is stabilized. I get it, there are times when an artist has these creative binges, but the vast majority of these situations are when you are trying to finish a particular stage of your work. You need to put yourself on the clock when you are at the precipice of finishing a particular stage of your work. Don't exceed more than 2.5 hours beyond the end of your routine. In other words if you been at the art bench for 8 hours, and you feel like you can finish it up a stage, you can do that but you need to set a an overtime limit. Giving yourself only 2.5 hours beyond your normal time is fair, you may not finish up the stage, but keeping your sleep and energy should be first priority. Never doubt your ability to pick up where you left off yesterday, no matter where you left the project hanging. Keeping a strict work schedule will ultimately reduce the creative blockage you might suffer from, which often causes you to binge-work. As for the sample you shown, WOW I love the pastel colors choices! Absolutely masterful coloring.

I'm happy you're liking how its looking Seamus. :) As for breaks and naps, I will certainly try to rest a bit more, although its definitely easier for me to say, than it is for me to do. :-s ^^ :-s

I'm pleased you're liking the colour choices STL, although the main character is a little more traditional, i.e. 'Pink'. ^^ As for a strict working schedule, I’ve sent you a message.

Sendahlove

I figured it would be pink. I'm not sure you are aware but traditional Southern Belle dresses are commonly yellow and white or lavender and white.

Thank you for the message reply you sent STL, I've read it a couple of times, although my brain has been in a little bit of a haze today and so I will be reading it again once I'm a little more conscious. :) I have seen those colours, although I wasn't aware those were the set traditional colours for Southern Belle Dresses, interesting. I tried to be both traditional and Non-Traditional, so hopefully the Characters appearance will obtain a Harmonic Happy Medium. ^^
