I picked the Ghetto Princess (Jersey Guidettte), and the Astro-naughty Explorer (Astronaut).

katscandy

Both are Very Good Choices. In fact ALL of the suggestions are, I'm lucky some strange & wonderful pink & fluffi illustrator created such a Fun Style-Theme list for me to create images from! ^^

Green Sea

so what is JERSEY GUiDETTE mean in style themes?

Sendahlove

Basically it's a female version of a Guido. Think of an exaggerated ghetto fabulous Italian Princess or Snooki &JWoww from Jersey Shore. Dark tan, bright makeup, tacky trendy fashion. They are dimwitted and vain, materialistic. Put in a great deal of effort in finding love in all the wrong places. They generally prefer to date like minded Guido's.

Green Sea

that sounds really interesting, so then could you give a short description of the other one cause the * Astronaut is a idea that ive never heared of and i really what to now the direction youll take the Gothic and the Punk/rocker in.

katscandy

With Gothic, I would probably lean much more into the 'Goth' genre than the PrincesVille Gothic-Prom Theme will likely go. Dark Makeup, Chains, Fishnets etc... As for Punk/ Rocker This one's probably the hardest to describe, as there's quite a few possibilities, and visually there isn't one single idea which I have in mind, except maybe some-sort of Mohawk. ^^ My Vision of Jersey Guidette is Very Much, Bright, Tight & Tacky Clothing with Animal Prints, Oversized Gaudy Jewellery, Deep Tans & Big Hair! Regarding the Pirate, another of the themes I would have to research in greater depth as there's some wonderful opportunities to really play around with the theme and the appealing visual nature of the genre. :) Vintage 80's Tackiness... I think I would consider this one of the hardest Style-Themes on my whole style-theme list, it's a style-theme which carries so many notions of what the *80's* was, both visually and from a clothing & hair style point of view. Which makes it one of the most challenging, but also one of the most fun learning experiences. ^^ As for the Astronaut Style-Theme, the visual I have in mind is something inspired by the likes of Barbarella and Space Channel 5's Ulala. https://www.google.com/search?q=space+channel+5+ulala&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjBut7PkYDhAhXUShUIHXcIBX0Q_AUIDigB&biw=1536&bih=829#imgrc=IHwjslJ3XpkOIM: I hope this has helped Seasmus. :)

Green Sea

oh, they all sound so great and this makes me wish you could do them all!

katscandy

I would like to think I'll manage to create them all at some stage. ^^

Green Sea

I have no dought you will and ill be looking forward to it, just don't burn your self out. ;)

Wow I had to add my vote to the Vintage 80's. Somehow I missed it when I voted the first time. The 80's is all about excessive fashion, overstated and bright contrast. The hair is probably the first thing that people mention when they talk about 80's fashion. It's high point of perms and curling iron and glorious aerosol hairspray cans that gave two shits about the ozone layer....all for big teased hair! Neon Pink lipstick and blue eyeshadow was the norm. Shoulder padded shirts and stone washed jeans were in every girl's wardrobe. I grew up in this era, and it went by too fast. It was such great time for fashion.

Terry Stokes

Hmmm, jersey shore gothic 80's whore? Massive black bimbo hair, talon polish and trashy tattoos a must!

katscandy

Unlike the 60's & 70's, I'm not sure fashion will ever truly dip its toe back into the 80's. Although it would be fun if the fashion world did. :)

katscandy

It would be nice to do a character with black-hair, as I don't think I've ever coloured a characters hair black before. ^^

Sendahlove

K@T check my latest "kinky ramblings" for my take on black hair. Basically I would use a really dark blue/violet shade to mimic black.

katscandy

Yes, The way Adam Warren uses Dark Blues within Dark hair has always made me curious to try it. :)

Terry Stokes

I thought gimbo rainbow highlights were a given! And 80's huge to go with the hoopy hooker earrings of course. Dramatically pale with excessive makeup instead of fake tan?

katscandy

You're completely right Terry, Hoopy Earrings and bold makeup would definitely have to be a 'must' for the 80's Style-Theme. :)
