Dear Prissy Flouncy Pink & Bouncy Patrons...

FIRSTLY I Would like to THANK YOU ALL for the Incredible Support & Encouragement you've All Given Me Here on Patreon over the Past Year and a Half, TRULY THANK YOU...

Now, Given either of these changes, I will totally understand should any of you decide my patreon is no longer for you... I Just Wanted to Say THANK YOU for Having been a Part of My Patreon. :)

SECONDLY,  to Provide you ALL Plenty of time to make any adjustments to your Tier Selections...

Over the Next Month I will Solely be working on the Next 2 STRAPFORD POUND Pages, to provide you All with AT LEAST 4 WEEKS NOTICE, before I begin any-work on THE NEXT PiN-UP IMAGE.

When I created this patreon, I did so, so I could wake-up each day and do what I love to do, *DRAW* (Because I truly do love drawing) and when I have the chance to, or an idea pops into my head I could also create some fun little Captions or Quiz Bits & Pieces along this patreon journey.

Almost Burning out last year put me in the position of having to seriously re-evaluate All the work I've been doing and after also reading through everybody's surveys from the End of Last Year/ Early this year,  I've had a lot of time to think about how best to manage my patreon and my working sanity moving forward  in the long-term. :)

So while this may not seem like a particularly huge decision, it is a decision which I've spent months wrestling with. BUT I'm having to be Strict with myself and my own Realistic Grounded Expectations of my working ability and my desire to focus more time on the Artwork-itself.

With that said... I will be making the Following 2 Changes.

1 Major Change to my Patreon

1 Minor Change to my Patreon

====================================================

The MAJOR Change is...

1) I will be REMOVING the End of the Month 'Magazine Cover Versions' of the Pin-Ups.

---

As a Result of the Removal of the Magazine Cover Versions, I WiLL be making the Following Adjustments to the REWARD TIERS:

*) The $2 Tier Will Now Be able to Vote in any Future Comic Page/ Strapford Pound Polls.

*) The $3 Tier will Now Receive the A4 SiZED PiN-UP iMAGES.

*) The $3 Tier Will Now Receive *1 CONTEST ENTRY*

*) The $5 Tier will now receive the FULL A3 SiZED PiN-UP iMAGES.

*) The $5 Tier Will Now Receive *2 CONTEST ENTRIES*

*) The $10 Tier Will Now Receive *3 CONTEST ENTRIES*

(THE TIER DETAILS ON MY MAIN PATREON PAGE HAVE NOW BEEN UPDATED ACCORDINGLY).

 ====================================================

The Minor Change is...

2) I have decided to do 2 Separate Style-Theme Polls for the 'BiMBO & SiSSY' Themed Images.

What this means moving forward, is that the 'Sissy' & 'Bimbo' Themed Pin-up Images will each have their 'STYLE-THEMES' Voted for Separately to provide a bit more Variation from Image to Image.

====================================================

The REASONING behind these Decisions::

The *Magazine-Cover Versions* have become  counter-productive to my whole working process.

As sadly I'm spending almost as much time working on adding text to the Magazine Cover Versions, as I am drawing the actual pin-up images themselves. :-s

Typically after completing a Pin-Up, I'm usually really excited to Jump in to the NEXT IMAGE... BUT, it's reached a point where I'm finishing a Pin-Up Image and then I'm spending anywhere between 3-5 days creating the Magazine cover versions, Trying to come up with the Magazine Names, Several Slogans and Researching Fonts for the images, by which point my drawing momentum & enthusiasm has come to a complete stop.

Regarding the Change to the Style-Theme, this change is for 3 reasons:

a) To try & give each character image greater variation, so if you are perhaps not keen on the theme of the Sissy Character, then there's a greater chance that the Bimbo Character theme will be more interesting to you and vice-versa.

b) It will provide myself the opportunity to be able to work on 2 drastically different images without fear of repeating myself in terms of clothing elements & aesthetic in the 2nd image...

&

c) It also means I can remove the arbitrary term 'CYCLE' from my posts, as I think I unintentionally confuse a lot of people when I use that term. ^_^

IF YOU'VE MANAGED TO READ THIS FAR, THANK YOU TO YOU ALL :)

I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I FEEL I'VE HAD TO MAKE THESE 2 CHANGES  AND I'M SORRY TO THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY FEEL DISSAPPOINTED BY EITHER CHANGE.

My Sincerest PiNK & FLUFFi Thank You's to ALL OF YOU.

K@T

P.S. If Any of you have Any Questions, please feel free to ask.

Changes all sound good to me, anything that keeps you motivated and inspired. Definitely agree that the themes needed to be separated as they didn't quite pair up with the roles. As someone who had done mock covers, I know the how time consuming and tedious it can be.

Coomcheese

Completely understand. Id rather you be happy making what you and we like than burning out.

I found the magazine covers always interesting, but not essential, as long as you still add text to the pin-ups, the good text upgrades the picture twice!:D

Mika W

Keep up the awesome Work. :-)

katscandy

Thank you Send the Love for your understanding and magazine mock-cover-creation empathy. :D

katscandy

Thank you Damansskin for your understanding, I really truly do appreciate it. :D

katscandy

Ben4321, I can confirm I will still add Text &/Or Captions to the Pin-Up Images where applicable. :D

The RubberMansion

I think burnouts in Patreon tend to be quite common, don't worry, I have had mine as well, and having to do something you love because you HAVE to do it usually kills the mood to do something great. I'm lucky enough to have patrons who understand that aspect and so do you ( I hope :) ) :)

katscandy

Indeed, I'm also very lucky to have such amazing patrons Monique. :) Balancing what you love & actual work-work can be a bit of a tight-rope to walk, but with these changes I'm able to lean towards the 'Love' part more, than I was prior to these 2 changes. :)

The magazine covers were good, but I am not upset they are gone; I'd rather see new art and know you are able to put the full force of your talent and effort behind it. Keep up the good work Kat!
