I guess Muko wasn't the only one who had a bad night in her debut match. While Nyarai was traumatizing her, Kalita was disappointed by her former leader, mentor, founding member, and friend. Then Gantus appears and uses her beloved gang to destroy the city. I feel bad for Kalita because it shows that she's trapped in a conundrum. For one thing, Debbie is kind of right. Life is short and shouldn't be wasted, that's why falling in love and having a family is kind of a safe route for many adults. On the other hand, Kalita is in the right that she did betray her ideals, and also her friends, as she didn't bother to keep in contact with them for over a year. It appears that family is a sore subject for Kalita, based on how quickly she got made when Debbie brought it up and how Debbie backtracked immediately. I'm not sure if Kalita is an orphan or she left her family, but it appears that she doesn't like mothers drinking alcohol based on how quickly she called out Debbie for ordering wine while being pregnant. The appearance of Gantus did not disappoint. He is very terrifying given how his status as the leader of the Roda Kira Gang was mentioned back in Chapter 5 as the one who ordered the shakedowns. The next chapter is gonna be epic as it looks like Kalita is ready to fight him if it means stopping his madness.
