"Artagan" is just a way for us to track our release ! FoundryVTT version v0.3.1

Dear patrons !

Happy anniversary to us ! A lot happened in one year ! Modules like Automated Animations, Sequencer and now Advanced Spell effects have taken the community by storm !
We're so grateful for these developers that have made using our assets so much easier to use and we are so grateful for you, our patrons, that made all of this a possibility !
To celebrate this one-year anniversary, we're finally releasing the very-long awaited Fireball ! We hope you like it.
NOTE : We've modified and animated a "Blast" tile from Forgotten Adventures that could be used with our Fireball asset.
Since we're only allowed to share it for free and understandibly cannot include it in our Patreon pack, here is the download link :
Blast Forgotten Adventures

We've finally finished our brand new website ! It took us a while but we think it was worth it ! It hasn't been easy but we're quite proud of it ! ⚒️️😫🛠️
This should be taking us in the right direction concerning information accessibility. Please help us in keeping it up to date and feedback is welcome, as always.

We gathered all the results from the general survey and published them on our website : General Survey Results
This was a good experiment and some valuable information and feedback came back from it. We will be doing this every now and then, just to make sure we're still on the right track, thank you !
We have an idea for a type of "build your own effect" style survey that would take you through different steps :

  • Do you want a melee, ranged, a tile, a token or a UI element ?
  • let's say we select ranged
  • Do you want a projectile, a beam or a link ?
  • Then we'd ask for a type of Element/Damage type : Acid, Air, Bludgeoning, Cold, Fire, Earth, Force, Heal, Lava, Lightning, Poison, Psychic, Slashing, Piercing, Vegetation, Water.
  • if the first option was a tile, for example, we'd ask if you want it looped or a play-once type effect. For the ranged attack, the answer is included when you chose projectile/beam/link.

We like the idea and although it probably wouldn't be too hard to build, we'd like to include all possibilities and show you an example of animation at the end !
In the meantime, tell us what you think of this idea. We'd love to know your input and maybe any tips on creating such a tool. 🤗

We've made a looped version with and without debris, an explosion and a beam (5, 15, 30, 60 and 90ft versions) ! Available colours are orange blue and purple for now.

These last two are from a macro that is included in our Sequencer macros compendium that will need both Sequencer and Warpgate to work. More info as comments in the macro itself.

For the animated "Blast" tile from Forgotten Adventures... where do I need to place the files? Do they go under the 3rd level folder in the library?

JB2A

Unfortunately, I would recommend against placing anything in our module since it would get erased on the next update. It would be best to save it somewhere in your data folder, maybe in a folder next to where you save your tiles and tokens for your games ? Apologies if the comment in the macro was misleading. This also means we haven't added this particular asset in our Sequencer database. This is a bit of an odd one but we thought it looked cool, we just couldn't go against the Forgotten Adventures licensing and wishes.
