First things first!

OOF! have I really been making a post a month on here? well, the reason is definitely because I'm so active on the discord server and twitter that I tend to somewhat neglect patreon... maybe also due to the app being not so user friendly that I can't really make posts from my phone...

However! if you have been visiting the discord server, you too would see the work that's been going on O: so I'd like to discuss some stuff here, get a sort of discussion going about Workflows, Commissions, Work Stress and generally the stuff that's been keeping me going for the last month or two.

Thank you for all your friggin support, I love you all so much xD <3

The Meat of the post!

Ok, so, some of you might have noticed the changes last month with the new $30 Tier. This has become an extreme challenge to me. I am an idiot. So, originally its a wonderful idea however its been halted due to my commissions list pressure (we'll get back to this in a sec), people not sending me information about their characters, peeps having a ton of mods for their character to look desirable causing just the look of someone to take longer and most of all-- the sheer will power to do a full piece in a day...

I've had some suggestions, being that I'm big dummy for suggesting a comm a day-- like yes, I can spit out something in 45 minutes but sometimes I'll feel like crap if I don't like the final piece and that causes me to get derp for a while and that's not good. Just because I am fast enough to finish one of these renders in a day, doesn't mean that it's a good idea to stress myself out and put 30x pressure on me each month to do that. It somewhat feels like finals but... constantly taking a new final each day through the entire month. It's kind of insane...

SOOO a rather good suggestion is to ask you all what I should do before jumping the gun and making changes like suddenly changing it from 30 images a month to something much more manageable like... 2-4 a week? maybe? that way I take my time and enjoy the result at the end too. So what are your suggestions about that? what would you like to see as the result of $30 patron?

2-4 images a week? having it really be a lucky chance? could be much more fun when someone wins lol. Also have a cooldown for a few months for the winners?

Commission Queue chaos

OK and the Commissions Queue topic. Some of you might be clients? maybe potential curious art commissioners? Currently I've had to resist taking on new commissions because I've been getting used to the chaos I put onto myself through Patreon $30 tier. I racked up a bit of a workload for commissions. That being said-- I'm stressing myself more and more to date my list of commissions and do them in a proper order-- after all, they were paid commissions that were supposed to get done in some sort of a timely manner and I want to do good by them, give them the most excellent art that I can provide! that's what brought you all here, right?

Work stress was actually triggering my depression response... I broke down one night talking about it to a friend. My escape from the real world is through games, art and talking to people and spending time with my community. I don't exactly go anywhere and get out of my room, its always my work mode from the moment I wake up till the moment I sleep and that is pretty dangerous... I hope this makes sense to everyone.

Words to clients

So I ask that current clients please keep in mind of prior engagements, I have a decent sized list, I want to work through them all before I take on any new COMMISSIONS. This does not include my commitment to Patreon rewards-- without you, I would not be able to survive at this current rate. The goal is to complete my current client list by the end of the year, my personal goal is the end of October to mid November. I feel like quite a lot of the commissions are already partially finished but they just need like one small push to get them done.

That being said, I want to finish my commission list in proper order and get better at organizing things (see picture of Tape). I need to place dates on my commissions when they are taken so I can keep better track of things. As I grow as an artist, I will need to learn how to organize things better.

What are the images in this post?!

The really high detail looking one is some progress for the High Poly character commissions, I've finally found what I was looking for in order to proceed.
The drawing is some doodle work that I did while learning how to use Clip Studio Paint for the comics I wish to do later in my career here! (yes, I have big plans duh... y-yes I draw too).
The weird looking image is the current commission list as I see it. Red is Priority, Yellow is Working on, Green is Done, Purple is Submitted, Pink is Approved.

TL;DR: plez be gentle, I'm doin my best, I love you all, look forward to big epic stuff, pls discuss below suggestions to not murder Meku.

I didn't know this stressed you so much but feel free to drop to 2 winners a week if you can manage it. If you still take on commissions, plans and animations on top of it, it's insane to try and keep up this pace alone. Plants are fine i'd say btw.
