Hi guys!

Little update while things are in progress - the resin stained green again in my follow up attempt yesterday, luckily I only poured one tile to be safe and remade a few spares with the last disaster!

I'm running a retest now with much more sealing varnish and resin over the oil paint grime, I now suspect that is the culprit. No green so far, but we're only 1h into the cure, so fingers crossed!

If that goes smoothly I'll be able to finally go assembly line on the remaining tiles, and should...SHOULD..be plain sailing from there!

I'm also leaning towards a non-ripply surface, both to make it appear more stagnant, and allow you to see the disgusting underside more clearly. Ripples just dont feel as right on the sewers as they did on the water tiles, and mod podge 'air blowing' alternatives didn't look great either due to the modular corners and straight edges.  I'll try and get some images together of my tests on those once dry and you can let me know what you think!

Matt
