Hi Guys!

Bit of a slow couple of days as I've started to come down with something flu...ish (hoooray!) BUT I've pushed on and got the photography done with all the new things Patreon has helped me afford to make life easier! List at the bottom* if you're interested in how your support is helping the channel :)

But yes! Photography done, so just talking head, Voiceover and editing to do before weeks end - I'm just praying the symptoms don't get any worse 😄

On a more positive note, I am VERY happy with how these turned out! I think the one flaw is now I want to redo the cave tiles with more detailing 😂 my tinkering is never done...

There are two more builds worth of photos to show off, I'll drip feed those with the editing updates so I have shinies for you each time :)

So what do you guys think now they're painted? 😁

*stuff I've been able to invest in thanks to you guys:

Rising desk to combat the back pain I get leaning over builds and cameras during photography - weirdly enough computer desks are not really built for photoshoots 😂 This one also has wheels and is smaller so I can pull it away from the wall, hence the GORGEOUS new black background I can set up now! Very nice...

GIANT new expensive light for less directional lighting problems (brighter at one side/the front, weirdly shadowed at the back, among other things!

A wall mount for said light so I no longer trip up on lights as often...

A standing mat to make standing in one spot all day during photography easier to deal with, lets me keep working longer!

And a few other WIP things like better ventilation for my work room, which is a big one I want to get sorted and one you guys have massively helped make possible! My lungs thank you :)

Wow these look incredible! Hey Matt, I will soon be expanding my basement, adding my own little office/workspace. I'm also looking into some sort of ventilation, but I'm not really sure where to start. What did you end up doing for ventilation?

I'll let you know when I finalise it and get it working 😂 v1 was a bit of a failure. V2 plan is two 150mm inline extractor fans, one for the 3d printers and one for the work desk, both in the room very close to the place they're ventilating, and ducted out through the attic and out of the roof (to avoid sound bleed by putting them through the wall - not an issue you will have probably!) Ask me again when I mention I got it all working 😂

This looks crazy good, but I'm starting worry about all the things I'm making taking so long to put together at the table. Is prebuilding the only solution? Are these pretty fast to put together? I'd love to see some more behind the scenes content just building and rearranging scenes.

These literally just clip together, you can keep them connected if you want, they're magnetised for more efficient storage and so you can make different facings for different uses, like desert rocks etc :)
