I'm very happy to get this video out to you guys, it's been a labour of love over the past month putting all this together for another big modular video.

You can do a lot with the pieces here, especially combined with previous projects from the channel, but the stone floors, windows, doors and walls in particular will all be used in the long awaited upcoming modular cathedral/chapel build!

I'm also going to cut back on the longer videos and release them in a more traditional weekly format - though doing it this way is more efficient I don't like how it leaves the channel without fresh content for weeks.

With that in mind, the next few videos will be individual modular additions FROM the cathedral build, that you can also use in a ton of different, more secular builds! Essentially I'm going to split the build-up over time, much as I did with the wall and temple system but with the big reveal at the end rather than the start :)

DIY MAGNETIC Buildings: Modular Dungeon Walls for D&D

An easy to follow DIY tutorial for magnetic modular dungeon walls that you can use to make full buildings for D&D. You can take them apart and reassemble them as a totally different building! These pieces can be used as part of a dungeon tile system too, allowing you to show walls and accessories, but with the freedom to make cutaway scenes for easy player access. There are modular doors and windows, that are removable, replaceable with different designs and can also be used in some clever ways to add more to a dungeon. Then of course there are the modular magnetic columns which are probably some of the most flexible pieces I've made so far… Finally the system includes interior wall pieces that allow you to make almost any shape of rooms or corridors you could want. ⚔️ Vote for future videos on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/RPArchive 🔔 Subscribe and click the bell for more D&D ideas, minis and terrain! 👍 If you found this helpful, please help me out and like the video up there! 📱 Share this video with your D&D group: https://youtu.be/mB08dC5aAo8 Check out more D&D modular terrain videos: http://bit.ly/RPArchiveChannel Follow the channel to catch new videos and previews of upcoming content: Facebook: http://bit.ly/RPArchiveFB Instagram: http://bit.ly/RPArchiveINSTA Equipment and materials: http://bit.ly/RPEquipment Timestamps: 2:24 Floor tiles 5:49 Walls 7:37 Magnetising roof tiles (from the stable video) 13:15 Columns 15:01 Doors 21:57 Windows 31:59 Interior walls and doors 35:32 Examples of builds you can do Painting Stone Tutorial: https://youtu.be/MFwY2RWnlKU Temple Tutorial (tin foil technique and stair tiles/framework): https://youtu.be/_dACymdrm5k Castle Wall Tutorial (easy stone floor tiles): https://youtu.be/0U-JIa2Fj4s Stable Tutorial (wood tiles and thatch roof tutorials): https://youtu.be/vSYfw4aW8ok Torches, Gibbets and Banners Tutorial: https://youtu.be/HixelqnzY14 Black Magic Craft plasterers tape window tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm10DLxE6Ow For any metric users who aren't comfortable with using the inches side of the ruler, I've linked a conversion calculator here: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/length/inch-to-mm.html #Rparchive #Archivemodularterrain

Embarkation

Seriously, why am I finding it so hard to track down the size of your walls (believe 3x2?), and the paper template for door and window cut outs? Was there an stl jig for this? Love the vids, I’m diving through your old stuff currently.

RPArchive

3x2x0.5 for exterior walls, I highly recommend looking at the pinned comment on patreon, the archive index :) check out the video section for the project you plan to make, it has more info, links and guides Also in the index is the patreon benefits section, which has a download section too! No jigs for the early walls, originally but the welcome pack in the index has the new wall stamps, and the download section has magnet positioning jigs etc :)
