Used Arborist Ropes Break Super Low!? (Patreon)

Cody Zimmerer gave me 1/2" used arborist ropes that broke at 11kN and 12kN which is super low compared to my 10mm static climbing ropes that break around 18kN.  Cory Grossman gave me some new rope of the same type and they broke almost twice as high at 20 and 21kN.  Used 3/4" double braided bull run rope broke at 20kn which is also pretty dang low for how thick of a rope it is.

Life Update: As soon as I got back from Thailand, i went to Nevada to break 50 bolts in limestone and then came back to the lab.  Im doing the last great purge of my old life of being a California painter and moving all my personal stuff to Seattle area and only lab stuff is going to be at the lab.  In case you didn't know, I now come down to the lab about once a month to break gear in batches and then edit and coordinate future videos and courses up in Washington.  Once I'm not this crazy, I'll work on doing early access more often for the Saturday videos.  My new website back end stuff is done, now I need to upload all my content to it and make the new home page which is going to be super sexy!  That's been my biggest behind the scene project I can't wait to show you all.  Thank you for your support!
