Patreon... Something? (Patreon)

Hey dear Patrons.

I hope you enjoyed all the content that I posted during this month.

I wanted to come forward with something that has been a little weird for me, and it has nothing to do with my comics, you, me, etc… but it has to do with Patreon itself.

They have been messaging me and telling me that they will start applying some kind of tax to you Patrons, and they are mentioning these: “VAT, JCT, GST, QST and other similar taxes”.

To be honest, I’ve been looking around and investigating what this would mean for me as a content creator… but Patreon isn’t that good when it comes to explaining things.

The only thing I understood was that now you Patrons were going to pay some kind of extra tax depending on your location and which kind of tax is applicable to you. They keep telling me to make changes in my Tiers/Pledges but that can’t be done since I have you guys already on board, and I’m not planning on changing my tiers.

For now, I’m just sticking to what we already know, same tiers and same benefits… cause I wouldn’t want to fuck things up because of something I can’t understand.
