So... I have so much of a confusing reaction to this. Personally, “Quiche” was a bit depressing. And nude heels... well I have a thing about open bs closed but... Wow. So many curious questions of the moment. Also note to self: learn how to dance?

Live on stage is raw and unyielding. In sports the truly great ones have what they call the "it" factor. I think you must have "it" and it is so good that you enjoyed the experience. Sounds like quite the experience to perform a reading like that, and it takes a lot of courage. I'm glad to hear the spectators were respectable. I do agree too that our culture tends to put an overt emphasis on the 'visual sexuality' of the female form. The male form is just that, tends to be dressed in drab and dull. I think that neither extreme should be sought, instead the sexes can meet at a crossing, taking on richer roles of expression. The male can dance and be vulnerable, placing emphasis on his visual form, rather than it being a mere vessel of stern manliness. Both sexes should be equally able to take pride in the health of their bodies and outward radiance. It can be up to everyone to decide themselves how to embrace their body and mind as one with free expressivity and sharing joys with a partner too.
