Hello Patrons,

Earlier this year, we gathered your feedback on a number of potential themes that we would cover over the coming year of Patreon releases. One of these themes that just barely didn't make the cut was "The Heist", featuring a SWAT response team, and masked criminals for a modern day bank robbery -- turned fire-fight!

While this theme would have been an excellent addition to our Patreon's catalogue of Regiments parts, we realised that to do it justice, we'd need to spend longer than a month and expand the number of parts for both sides, as well as create themed scenery and scatter terrain to really bring the idea to life.

We've been working away in the background for a while now,  and we're very pleased to announce that, at the end of September, we will be launching a Kickstarter project to bring The Heist to your printer!

These example models for the SWAT team are fully kitted out in modern tactical fatigues, bulletproof vests, and multiple configurations of webbing, pouches, radio and identification patches  -- all of which are Multi-Shell, by the way!

Our bank robbers, on the other hand, are far scrappier in their appearance. With civilian-style clothing and concealable weapons like the Uzi and sawn-off shotgun, they could be anyone you pass-by on the street... that is, until the masks come out!

With 24 different masks on offer, as well as some unmasked heads too (and that's just a start), there's sure to be a set that takes your criminal's fancy -- Clowns, Caricatures, Creepy Smiles, Halloween Creatures, and more!

Our SWAT PASGT helmet has seen some upgrades over our previously released versions too, and similarly has a plethora of Multi-Shell options, in 10 unique pre-configured versions! The UMP and Remington Shotguns make up our initial weapon options, but we've got a list of options we'd love to add to the set!

Please do suggest your own favourite modern rifles, SMGs and shotguns you'd like to see!

It wouldn't be a heist gone-slightly-awry without there being a few hostages. These poor souls held at gun point (or worse) will be key to setting the right tone for negotiations, and provide you some instantly recognisable rescue mission objective markers. Expect more unaccounted for employees and innocent by-standers to be found as the Heist (hopefully) grows in scope!

As the criminal's plans escalate, so does the police response. We've got tons of ideas for additions to the initial offering, expanding out both sides, as well as beefing up the scenery, loot, and scatter terrain offerings alongside.
