Hello Patrons and prospective Patrons,

It's the last day to sign up in order to be eligible to receive the Goliath mech for FREE when it is released in January/February, so we thought we would put up some component renders to look at what's included in more detail.

Find the last post with more grey renders and details of the reward program HERE

The Kit contains 22 separate components, giving you various different build options. All components are supplied optimised for easy printing with well tested custom-built supports, so you just need to load the components you need for your build into your slicer!

The complete kit is approx 35g resin including all supports/rafts, so will only cost you about £1-£2 GBP to print (depending on how much you pay for your resin).

The Torso elements (above) comprise:

  • Lower Torso Ring with left and right mount points for the two styles of arm, or pod accessories/weapons.
  • Choice of Folded Mech arm, Posable Mech Arm (open or closed fist), Sensor Pod or Carbine Pod for either of the Lower Torso mount points
  • Power Plant Ring, which sits on the Lower ring and can rotate to give different pose options. This has joints that fit the left and right brackets, which act as mounting points for the Howitzer and Minigun.
  • Pilot Ring - with a choice of either open or closed armour plates.
  • Separate Pilot head (Regiments compatible neck socket) and Top Sensor.
  • Minigun and Auto-Howitzer - Can be paired as shown or mirrored for two of the same gun. Shoulder mounts allow rotation in two axis.

If you are happy with a neutral pose then the Single Piece Legs (above) provide you with a really quick print and build option. You can see this pose above. The Mech arms are removed so you can get a sense of the model with the smaller sensor/carbine attachments.

If you don't mind putting a bit of effort in, the kit includes Fully Posable Multi-Part Legs with 360 degree rotation at the hip and ankle, and a choice of three different legs (Compact, Neutral and Extended) allowing almost any pose to be created!

The Goliath is the second in what will hopefully be a series of models using a shared 'Light Mech' chassis.

Many components in this kit are fully interchangeable with the equivalent components in our popular 'Light Mech' kit.

We will be back next month with some renders showing you some possible combinations to fire up your imagination!

Thanks

Team Anvil
