Hello Patrons,

Thanks for your patience while we put this months pack together. We hope to be back to our regular start of the month download schedule from April onward.

We managed to get the full set test printed - our minimalist hand made supports are very reliable and easy to clean up!

The Theme for March is Alien Mercenaries - We've put together a motley crew of heavily armed guns-for-hire, ready to be dispatched across the galaxy on any mission, if the price is right!

Check out the renders below, and then sign up for $9 to access the download links HERE

We've gone for a set of individual characters, so you are certain to find something you like.

While a number of models are single pose, we have included LOTS of optional and separate parts. Here are all the separate components you get for $9!:

These models are ideal for a huge range of sci-fi skirmish games like Stargrave or Necromunda which feature non-human combatants.

Our Aliens were given rather dull descriptive names during design, better suggestions in the comments please!

These first three were designed by Josh, our new CAD artist who starts next week - welcome to the team Josh!

Double Pistol Alien

The torso is male regiments arm compatible, as are the arms. The character head STL is designed to work with the torso, while the Regiments Torso head has a different neck angle and will work with our standard torsos.

Frog Alien

Frog Alien is supplied with three versions - a body with frog head and arms (shown above), an alternative sculpt with hooded visor helm, and a legs/torso only which is compatible with male regiments arms and any regiments head.  You also have a choice or blade or target hologram left hand.

The Yeti Alien

It's absolutely huge - the body is fully hollowed out to reduce printer wear and resin consumption.

The arms are printed separately to allow all that lovely fur texture to come out nicely.

You could also print the right arm without the gun (It's Multi Shell)

Below : Yeti with Tentacle Alien and Spiky Tail Alien, showing how big it is! You could scale the Yeti down to about 80% if you wanted to and it should still work ok (we have not tested it).

Tentacle Alien is a melee/CQB specialist.

Tentacle Alien is supplied as a complete figure with the arms, head and hood as separate shells. We have also included a legs/torso only version which will work with any male Regiments arms and head. This component could pass for human.

Spiky Alien is equipped as a marksman with the first of several Regiments Pistol Grip compatible guns. (The gun prints separately)

As well as the complete miniature (which is multi-shell - you can remove the head) we have also supplied a Legs/Torso only version, a separate head, and a cut and complete version of the rifle.

Below : A group scale shot with Dual Pistol and Frog Alien, plus Bird Alien.

Bird Alien was designed by Dan, our head of fulfilment - It's his first complete miniature sculpt!

Bird Alien is supplied as a complete miniature with separate head, but using the Multi-Shell functionality you can split out the legs and/or torso if desired - they are compatible with Female regiments rifle arms.
The Flechette gun is also supplied separately and is Pistol Grip Arms compatible.

The scale/group show below features Tesla Gunner Alien, Tall Alien and Scorpion Alien.

Tesla Gunner Alien has a slightly shorter stature than the others, but has plenty of fire power to make up for it!

Tesla Gunner Alien is actually two miniatures - One with full body armour and helmet, and one without. Both are Multi-Shell - you can remove the cannon to swap in another gun if you like.
Its about 29mm to top of head which is a little smaller, but could easily be printed 10-20% bigger if you wanted a larger monster (this is true of most of the aliens!)

Tall Alien is you guessed it.. pretty tall! and has a lethal long rifle to match!

Tall Alien is a single pose model, but the armour elements and head are removable shells, and we also supplied a regiments torso compatible version of the head - try it on the other aliens!

Scorpion Alien packs some deadly short range weaponry!

It's supplied as a complete model (Multi-Shell) with separate shoulder gun/camera element, and also as a separate Legs/Torso - Male Regiments compatible.

Below  : Group/Scale shot showing Frog Alien (with hood and knife options), Trenchcoat Alien and Tonfa Alien

Trenchcoat Alien is a western inspired bounty Hunter with plenty of fire power!

It's not shown below, but it's multi-shell and you can remove the arms/head from the body and use any male regiments parts.

Tonfa Alien is a melee specialist, but she carries a compact rifle in a sling. She is quite a bit larger/taller than the other models, but could be scaled down if desired.

Tonfa Alien is supplied as a complete body, with a choice of heads. If you scale the heads down to 90%, they are then Regiments compatible.

Alien Gubbinz!

You've seen all the Alien characters, but there is more!

We had so many creative weapons and elements designed that we've put together a complete pack of Alien Gubbinz for use in digital or physical conversion work.

Please note we have no idea how you might want to use these components, so they are NOT supplied with supports - have fun digital kit bashing!

The Gubbinz STL's are all numbered and supplied with a key image to make identification easy.

First up - a selection of Guns!

Lots of different designs of Shoulder pad which cannot be printed separately, but can be digitally overlapped with any Regiments arms before printing (you may need to edit or add supports). We've also included the target hologram as a separate piece without the frog hand.

And some more mixed parts -

  • The Prisoner from the back of the Yeti,
  • Male regiments arms from the Tentacle Alien
  • Regiments compatible Insect head with antenna arranged to print separately
  • Spiky Aliens tail
  • Crab claw arm with humanoid hand

We hope you enjoy printing all these aliens and kit bashing with the digital gubbinz!

Thanks

Team Anvil

Tentacle Alien: "Why not zoidberg?"

For a first time complete sculpt, that Bird alien is fiercely good.
