Dear Patrons,

Please note that the link will be live until midday on the last day of the month. It will then be removed for a period of a few days before a new link (valid until the end of the following month) is issued by private message. If you are joining the Patron on the last day of the month, do not worry - you will get a new link soon!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

All heads/Hats, separate torsos and some other parts labelled "(Multishell)"

These components can be imported into Blender, Meshmixer or various other 3D programs and then be split to remove certain parts of the model, giving you more options. The torsos for example can have their ponchos removed.  You can also remove the holstered pistols from all models, if they are firing drawn weapons.

The advanced section of our Mech Tutorial covers how to import and split elements in Blender, which is what we recommend using.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yubc0k_wlcE&t=2063s

The most important one this month is that you can import any of the heads and remove the hat or parts of the hat.

Saloon Bar

We have not test printed these components, however, they are all designed to work without any supports, printed flat on the build platform. Many of the elements are hollowed to reduce resin use and print forces. We suggest you use a slightly higher than usual exposure value for base/burn-in layers when printing the saloon bar.

If you want to print figures sitting on the seats, it is probably best to assembly the legs and torsos on the seat digitally and print as a single block, then add the arms and head.

The terrain might work with FDM machines, but it is optimised for resin printers.

----------------

For vanguard Patrons, there are two sets of links.

The first, recommended Link, contains only pre supported STL's, tested and ready to print.

If you decide at a later date you need to separate out an STL from its Pre-Support structure, this is very simple and takes a few seconds. Most slicer programs and various free CAD programs have features for splitting shells and rearranging or building models digitally before adding your own supports.

****Links Removed***Please note that the link will be live until midday on the last day of the month. We hope you like this months content, please let us know asap if you find any issues or problems with the files!

Thanks for your continued support of our project!

Im glad for the shells.. As I can use other female heads and add the hats on. With only 2 options for that.. Its nice to be able to mix my own and still use your hat bits.. So the models stay congruent to the theme.. Im gonna make an inquisitorial KT with these troopers.. The Inquisitor Tex Rex and his Posse.. Need to find a BIG IRON for his hip now.. Will probably just remix the handgun that you have already made... Im really happy with this sub.. Awesome themes paired with Great sculpts... Can not go wrong. Definitely foresee a really nice diorama constructed using this set... Shoot-out at the. K.O. Saloon.. Hunting heretics on some backwater planet.. The brave inquisitor "Tex Rex" the Ranger and his posse finally caught up to the cult leader and his body guards, and a shootout ensues to bring down the cult. For the Emperor!!

Isn't one of the female torsos missing? Also seems one of the male torsos is missing.

Are everyone able to remove the hats, I used blender but there are no options to remove the hat from the heads or the other way around, it seems for me nothing can be manipulated in blender when I try. Edit: Never mind the head, I figure it out, but the card table is giving me issues.

Nope, they're the same torso, just with the scarf / cape turned off

anvildigitalforge

Ive tested all these parts and they work fine for me in Blender. Whats the issue? Its possible the files with separate shells have problems when we compress/upload them so we need to look into it.

I noticed none of the models have empty holsters, is that something I need to use blender to achieve?

anvildigitalforge

Yep, or Mesh Mixer or various other 3D programs will usually have a split shell feature. Ideally one which keeps all the parts in the same locations so you can keep the support shell.

Mike Michaels

I was skeptical at first, but the multishell models are a HUGE BOON! Thank you!!!

How can you guys squeeze so much into a tiny file in comparison to every other STL Patreon? Good for off grid shit net peeps like me Thankyou pew pew pew

anvildigitalforge

It's extremely quick and easy to greatly reduce the polygon count of an STL while maintaining print quality. We also produce single shell support structures. Lighter files are quicker to download, take up less space and are much faster to manipulate and load on less powerful computers/slicers. The real question is why other Patreons don't do it.

Flikol

it turns out I did not have time and paid just like that? (

I did the same thing. It sounds like they'll PM us a link?

How do I get the link for Aprils items?

Hey! I also joined up a little late. I would love a link for the Space Western! :)

Is there any way to pick up this bundle now? I don’t see it on your site.
