Dear Patrons,

Last month was simply amazing, we have welcomed so many new Patrons and we are incredibly grateful for your support! We have a LOT more exciting models coming out over the next few months we can't wait to share!

If you are eligible for the Light Mech Download (and for the gothic void baseplate) - A new link will be issued in the next couple of days which will be valid until the end of February, so you have plenty of time to grab your files!

As promised, February's download is ready on schedule and the link will be available in the next 48 hours!

Here is everything you get in the Vanguard tier in one image!

As well as new infantry with frequently requested "Puttee legs", we've got fully modular, multipart Ogres to join the original single piece Ogre we did originally, and a Tankette Command Vehicle/Light Artillery Platform based on the Italian L3/35!

Most of the items included in this month are perfect for mix and matching with the contents of the orignal Over The Top, which Patrons get a 40% discount on. https://anvilindustry.co.uk/digital-armoured-trencher-bundle

Starting with the Infantry: We have Ushanka Heads and Greatcoat torsos, OR a much more heavily armoured "Tanker" torso with chainmail face guards, a very unique look!

The small arm supplied is based on a Soviet PPS submachine gun, but you can also use any of our digital or resin "Rifle stock" compatible weapons.

All the separate parts are fully compatible with our other digital releases and our Resin Regiments range.

Weapons are also supplied separately, and command parts for the Tankette (below) can be used to make infantry Officers.

Backing up the regular humans are some seriously tough-looking Ogres, now available as a modular, multi part kit with sergeant options and a choice of Shotgun or Lewis Gun. We will have more modular Ogre options coming out in future months, including for the Gothic Void Ogre.

These Ogres are about 55mm tall, but could be scaled to various sizes and still work well.

Providing some serious fire support is this awesome Tankette, inspired by the real world Italian L3/35 but upgraded with some less historical weapon options!

Lightweight tracks allow you to rapidly close with the enemy over uneven terrain, making it easier than ever to hit them with your sword!

The main body prints as a monoblock and you have a choice of light scouting turret with MG-42 or an Artillery turret with either Quad Cannon or Mortar.

All parts of the tankette are pre-supported and very easy to clean up and assemble! We know because we tested it!  >>

Shown here with a standard 31mm tall figure for scale, printed in 50um Z layers on a Phrozen Sonic Mini4K.

To wrap things up we have some useful battlefield scatter terrain, which is also the Sphere-Link tier download,  including a ruined version of tankette ready for some serious rust painting!

We hope you like what you see. Lookout for the download links very soon!

Thanks again,

Team Anvil

Ogres look dope y'all, but I gotta admit I was hoping for a close combat variant with shields. Always great work regardless!

Love these! They'll be perfect for my valhallans and chance of adding some m40 style helmets or budenovkas?

Anonymous

Hello, how to benefit from the 40% discount please?

Anonymous

This looks ace, are there the options of any winterised head for the ogres?

Anonymous

Holy dooley! The printer's going to be humming overtime this month!

Anonymous

Ushanka heads! Time to print a new Zona Alfa squad, lol.

Great models as usual. Any chance of some more dynamic leg poses please, the static/standing ones don't allow for much variety, even when using axis mirror...

I love it!!

Second this, I’m part of 10+ patreons atm and also a few stores and something that’s killing me is the tendency to drop little bundles like this that are great for little projects but to support a whole army 5 sets of legs simply isn’t enough. I really wish new lines would come with a comprehensive set then any boosters could be used to expand the ranges. It’s the 1 piece that utterly sells the dynamic motion and the lack of distinct variety has me using arms and torsos but simply not being able to use anvil legs for larger projects :/ I’m loving the kits and went back and picked up all the previous ones I miss so it’s less a criticism of quality and more a plea to have enough parts up front to make them useable from day 1. Keep up the great work

Adam Lingo

Lol. Not sure if it was meant that way, but I read that in Junkrat's voice.

ARK Redeemer

Yes! Brodie helmets for Ogres, I was going to message earlier asking if that was a plan! Now if they can get gas masks as well as the brodie, that will be perfect for my regiment.

Jon Letham

Love it. One question. Why have a vision slit on the front of the tankette when it's hull is not nearly thick enough to accommodate a driver? Would it not be better to make that a headlight or something?

anvildigitalforge

Very good question. I guess its for a sensor array.. or ventilation for their feet... You could overlap a headlight or sensor STL from the Mech or just file that detail flat after printing.

Yet more 40k stuff. You guys do great mini's but most of it is simply wasted by sticking with that aesthetic, some of this like the ushanka heads may have been useful with the post apoc set u did but even they have skulls on them. Now Im stuck with this stuff simply because I didnt get the mech part 2 pack within that small window. You need to preview the months set before we get charged for it.

Anonymous

It would have been nice if there were a set of the ushanka heads without the skulls. I don't play 40k and out of the 40k context what would have been nice heads look goofy. Just like the guy above me said they now cannot be used the post apoc set.

anvildigitalforge

Not in this release. It might happen in the future. I would assume Ogres are so hard they can walk around with no hat on in -20 and be totally ok.

I love the ogryn models! Especially with that brodie helmet and lewis gun.

anvildigitalforge

Hi, the discount code/link can now be found in the pinned post at the top of the page: https://www.patreon.com/posts/new-patrons-here-36925853

Love those Ogyrn!

Anonymous

love those seperate arms. would love a modern stock version of them however. for my federation guard.

Anonymous

So printed out the ogres, they are ace, however the trench club and pistol are both in the right hand so you can't assemble is as shown in the picture, unless i'm missing something?

Rhasputine

I have to say, the ogres heads are some of your best sculpts to date.

anvildigitalforge

Any of our components can be mirrored in chitubox or any other slicer program. This allows a left handed weapon to become right-handed, or an arm or leg pose to be flipped, giving you a lot more variety :)

ARK Redeemer

These look amazing! I'd love to use that Lewis gun for my regular troops too. What scale would you advise for that? :)

Anonymous

Quick question: can I use the "Over the Top" torso/head combo with the Renegade infantry legs?

anvildigitalforge

I believe resizing it to 40% of current size will work.. I would advise importing the weapons into Blender and then scaling the lewis gun to match as closely as possible.

Hello, I just took an inventory of the image and the downloaded file. Everything is not present. Help please?

anvildigitalforge

Can you message us with details of exactly what you are missing? Have you checked all the different folders?

Anonymous

Maybe I am just blind, or not looking in the correct place, but I cannot find the download link for the February Bundle. I am super excited about the Ogres but cant find the download link

Anonymous

It would be awesome if we could have some shields for the ogres!

anvildigitalforge

We will look to include some shields in a future Ogre themed release. The ones we did for Gothic void work well scaled up, if you have that pack, though ideally we would need some more Ogre shield arms.

Adolfo Ramos

Hello in the December sponsorship team (GOTHIC) there is a very nice shield, if you rescale it for the ogres they can fit you very well. I'm going to do them.
