Xmas/New Year BONUS DOWNLOAD - Gothic Void Base Plate

Anyone who is a Patron in either December or January can download the Gothic Void Base plate and cutters. This is two large flat plates in the Gothic Void style (one with battle damage) and a set of circle, square and Oval cutters which you can use to make your own custom bases .  You can also use the plate to make a larger base for dioramas.

January LIGHT MECH Preview and more Info

Lots of you will have participated in the polls and be aware that next month contains a single "miniature" standing approx 85mm tall!

I (Joel, Creative Director) am handling the entire Light Mech Project myself to give the CAD team some breathing room over the holidays.  This, combined with the Christmas Break and the complexity of the project, means delivery of the download is likely to be around the middle of January.

Here are some Work-In-Progress renders showing the model as it currently is. I don't like sharing renders this early, because it's extremely unfinished and clunky looking, but this gives a rough idea of the direction of the project and the eventual size/proportions.

This is the version with arms (and a rifle style gun) but it will also be possible to construct with the weapons mounted directly on the chassis.

The finished mech will feature:

• 50+ separate components
• Many optional and alternative components, allowing different styles of build
• Fully detailed interior cockpit and pilot (visible when built with the "open roll cage" option)
• At least 4 different weapons
• Supplied as both pre posed and pre supported "easy print" STL's  AND a file which can be opened in Blender, featuring a fully rigged and re-poseable version of the Mech. 
• Tutorial Video showing you how to use Blender (Free CAD software) to repose the legs and arms, swap in optional components and export the resulting model for printing.
