Hello Patrons,

We have had a hectic week with a Black Friday promotion on our resin range, so thanks for your patience and apologies if we have not been able to reply individually to messages.

The team has been working extremely hard to get the Patreon pack ready are just doing a few final test prints before making Decembers GOTHIC VOID TROOPERS available for download!

Here is everything you get!

First up we have some space suited void infantry ready to launch a full scale attack on any moon base or star ship!

We have used some popular parts from our resin range as a base to start, but created new legs, arms and weapons, as well as five (!) optional backs with various combinations of air cylinders and equipment.

Classic sci-fi bubble helm and a "Laser-Bus" compact energy rifle.

The optional boarding shield component fits on most of the rifle arms and many other miniatures in our range and others!

Specialists carry the tools to latch on and cut through doors when the owners are keen to avoid entry!  On the left we have an Ion-Slicer (Could also be a Mag-Harpoon gun), and on the right, a giant Rotary Cutter!

Here are all the separate components:

Two helmet variants, plus helmetless, with open visor male and female faces.

A selection of weapons are provided for compatibility with arms/hands, and separately.

The Specialist weapon torsos, male and female, are also compatible with the front ends from the original "Over the Top" month if you have that.

To lead the troops in battle, we have a number of upgrade components to make characters!

We have taken a more modular approach this month, so the parts can also be swapped in with infantry squad components.

The Void Engineer has extra pouches and carried either an explosive charge or a tracker/scanner unit.

Finally, he may struggle to get through smaller doors, but they won't stop him for long! The hulking Void Ogre carries a huge battering ram!  The model can be built with an exposed head, or enclosed armoured helm.

To finish off, we have done some scatter elements to upgrade buildings and hallways...

And in a first for our Patreon project, a huge selection of 39 void station themed bases! Loaded with detail and pre-cut in multiple sizes.  You get:

  • 10x 25mm
  • 10x 32mm
  • 6x 40mm
  • 5x 50mm
  • 5x 60mm
  • 2x 80mm
  • 1x 100mm

We hope you like our December offering! We had a lot of fun working on it and are excited to get the models in resin when we can, and also expand the range in the future!

Any feedback, here or on our discord, is very welcome

Look out for the post with the link in the next couple of days!

Thanks

Team Anvil

I never knew I wanted this, but I love it so much. Awesome work!

I love this entire set, but especially love that I had to open up the post itself to see the differences between the male and female torsos. It seems like a unisex design with differences based on how well musculature density fills out a suit, rather than anything aimed toward eye-candy. One of my favorite early gaming memories from youth was playing Metroid on my godbrother's NES, and after beating it, finding out that Samus was a woman. I can easily see playing using one of these minis and having a female character that sounds more androgynous, who joins a group and the rest of the party does not know is female until it becomes important to the plot. That small niche possibility gives a lot of interest to me because of that nostalgia.

Amazing. This could be the best drop yet. Well played to everyone involved in putting this together.

I am not a big fan of Cyberpunk so last month was for me a little letdown BUT this Month is fucking amazing !

Oh, this looks awesome. It's a shame the ogres aren't modular, although I'm wondering about printing one in mirror, perhaps converted to carry a different weapon, and running them as a pair, one with the helmet and one without.

Anonymous

Yeah, I'd love some modular ogres or even just alternate arms with the same body would be a big plus.

I Find it funny i was just playing Bioshock 1 & 2 for the first time in years. And was thinking i need to throw a Space Opera style Bioshock with a little Deadspace in to my home brew Sci-Fi game. And now with the "Void Ogre" I have a "Big Daddy" for it! LOL THANK YOU! *He says and he snicker with an evil grin*

Steffen Knoll

Hm, one thing I would always prefer for the arms is to have the choice between rifle and pistol grip.

Excellent set! The only change/addition would be more customisation on the ogre, that could be another month’s release; a load of alternative weapons, arms and legs for those you have already released? A big guy month?

Anonymous

I agree, because then we could use other weapons from previous releases without having to make it a big ordeal.

these are really nice, good job!!!

great works, look forward to more modular characters in the future

Jon Letham

These I like. Great work guys.

any chance of additional ogre legs and arm poses for this set in a future drop. I absolutely love this set but the limited options are killing me.. :)

Yep we actually already started sculpting some. We might do a Gothic Void 2 but its also possible they will be released as a separate Digital download on our website.
