 Dear Patrons!

If you still need to download "Over The Top" and have not yet done so, you have a few hours left before the link stops working permanently!

We have just sent out private messages to all of you containing your download links and passwords for the June "Automata" files. The files will be available until midnight on July 31st and we will send out a reminder, so you do not need to rush to get them.

Join before Midnight Pacific Time on July 1st and you can still get the entire Automata Release for just $9! (A further payment for August will then be taken on August 2nd) - When we sell the STL's separately they will cost at least $40-50!

Because we have already sent out the download links Patrons who sign up between this post, and the deadline, will get a further email with the links on July 2nd.

We are very open to any feedback you have on the models/way they are organised etc, and in particular, let us know asap if there are problems with any of the files.

We've hit the "Wasteland Scavenger Digital Exclusive" goal at 600 Patrons! You'll find this awesome Bounty Hunter in the "Workshop Scatter Terrain" folder, so all Patrons get a copy! We will never sell or distribute a digital version of this model ever again!

For more experienced users - the knife, pistol and pistol hand are separate STL shells which can be separated to allow digital weapon swaps.

As far as I know, Our Sync subscription does not have a limit.. but I imagine if hundreds of you try at the same time that might cause some issues.. It should work to zip and download the whole thing. Perhaps try again later or tomorrow?

We Decimate the files as much as possible while still keeping good quality at the scale, to keep the download (and eventual print set up) as light and fast as possible for slower computers.

Everything is uploaded in 4 different folders. We've double checked it. Its possible you didn't download everything otherwise you should have everything previewed in the previous update?

I just finished downloading all the bits and pieces (piece by piece as the 'download all' didn't work properly). A nice surprise to see that most parts come with supports. I have prepared two full prints (lots of automata and the bounty hunter) and can't wait to get started... This month has been a good one, these designs are amazing! Thank you for doing such a great job!

Yes - if you go to “manage memberships” in your account it will tell you the date and time and amount you will be billed. It continues until you cancel.

The download deadline is tonight, the purchase deadline was last night - to give people enough time to download/test files/resolve any issues etc, as once the links go dead we cannot easily set them up again.

Thanks a lot for the models. Some of the pieces are only available in supported versions. In the mail you mention is easy to edit the STL and remove them but some of use never did before. The norm for other patreons is to offer the full range of files unsupported. Would you consider doing so for future releases?

Hi Serpes - I'll be sharing some thoughts in the next update. We will certainly consider that (though there are downsides) - we do listen to all our feedback and we are learning and improving.

i'm happy that you supply the presupported files, but it is also extremely important to supply the unsupported ones too. The regiment arms alone have 23 layers with unsupported islands at 30 microns

Hi all, I've uploaded unsupported arms and legs for both scaled plus a few other bits. They are all in the main directory (not in a subfolder) so they are easy to find.

Hey Anvil. do your prehollowed STLS come with drainholes. if not.. please add those. Resin that gets caught inside can eat away at the cured resin and will cause the model to break over time

All the stuff advertised as pre hollowed actually just has big chunks removed from the underside which are left open - all the liquid resin will drain/clean off in IPA no problem. any actual hollow models will have drain holes or ideally separate parts which are glued on to cover a larger hole. I am still developing new techniques for the print at home process and we will get better over time!

The message mentions PrusaSlicer, and it took me a bit to figure out but the way to do it is super fast and easy. Open Prusaslicer (free download), IMPORT the .stl, select it and click on the separate into objects button (looks like a square with an O, top right side of the tool bar). Then go to the right side of the screen and click the eyeball icon for everything that you DONT want (so it hides it) then go to EXPORT PLATE AS STL and it makes a new stl with just the item you want. load it into whatever program you like.

I made a deliberate decision not to include these parts because on reviewing them, they were too small/fragile to work well with home 3D printers.

Hi, I backed at what I thought was a couple hours before the cutoff for the automata set too. (the 'bonus time') Did I calculate it wrong (was I a day off?)?

Let me get this straight. You make a mistake on the cutoff date to get both the June and July content, then demand a direct paypal payment of an additional $9 to receive the files you promised?

Hi Chris, I am sorry for the slow response - I've responded privately to explain the situation. Yes - Had I not made the error, you would have automatically been charged twice for the two months of content in quick succession. I requested an additional payment from the small number of people affected so that they could gain access still. The cut off date given was in relation to the June content only. I apologise if it was unclear - we are new to Patreon and still figuring it all out.

Hi Adam, I am afraid that model was released with the June Automata files, and is not available any more. I apologise if the wording was confusing. I'll try and make it clearer in future. There will be plenty more exclusive models coming in the future though!
