NEWCREST GAS STATION - CAFE - FOOD TRUCK (Patreon)

Available for download is my Newcrest Gas Station, Cafe and Food Truck (All on the one lot) By all means, if you would like to separate them, you can do so yourself inside the game, however, this build was already a HUGE challenge and I couldn't even be bothered to separate them in the end.

The Lot was built on the first 30x20 Lot in Newcrest.

There is A LOT of photos, because there is A LOT to this build & I wanted you guys to see what you're getting - It took me about a month, on and off, to complete. Every object was meticulously placed onto shelves/hooks/counters and fridges and almost every object was manipulated by the T.O.O.L mod, which was fun to finally learn and perfect, but took a lot of time and effort and swearing and rage quitting, like a little bitch.

Note that you DO NOT NEED the T.O.O.L mod in order for the build and objects to show up appropriately, however, if you move them and you don't have T.O.O.L, you're going to struggle to get them exactly where they were prior.

If the big-ass bitch loads into your game without your computer malfunctioning - Congratulations and enjoy.

ABOUT THE BUILD ~

GAS STATION:

The Gas Station comes complete with EVERYTHING (that I could think of and found during my many hours of research) that a Gas Station has:

➼ ATM machine,
➼ Bagged ice,
➼ Tyres,
➼ Gas bottles,
➼ Toilet,
➼ Snacks,
➼ Beverages (Almost every kind)
➼ Confectionary,
➼ Ice creams,
➼ Scratchers,
➼ Medicine,
➼ Feminine products,
➼ Intimate products (condoms, lube, etc)
➼ Fruit,
➼ Bread,
➼ Dairy products (eggs, milk, butter)
➼ Gas station flowers for that "Oh, fuck, I forgot our Anniversary" last minute present,
➼ Krispy Kreme Donuts,
➼ Slushy machines,
➼ Car oil,
➼ Hygiene products,
➼ Instant meals,
➼ Sandwiches,
➼ Cigarettes,
➼ Sim cards for your Sims "mobile phones",
➼ Coffee!
➼ The behind the counter/office area even has security footage of the actual store and petrol bowsers. It's just framed photos I took off my Sim's phone, of areas of the Gas Station in angles of where the cameras are, but it looks real.
I mean, basically everything - How good are Gas Stations? Or Servos, as us Australians call them. The store also has a functional air-conditioning system for both hot and cold weather.

The chips on the display stand are edible, so if a Sim buys some, they will be able to eat them there and then - The same goes for the Hot Dogs and Pretzels that are in the display cabinet. So you do not have to set those objects for sale. The rest of the objects in the store can just be bought as retail items and basically be useless to your Sims, because EA hates us having fun and detail in our game.

The fuel pumps are obviously just for display, because, again, EA hate us all and won't give us functional cars. I mean, imagine a game where you can travel around in a car and have to pump it with gas? Not even GTA has that feature and it's shit. I mean, imagine a "Life Simulation" game having real life simulations? Instead we get Werewolves and Fairies..... Anyway, moving on.....

THE CAFE:

➼ Coffee, obviously
➼ Food - Salads, sandwiches, desserts, etc...
➼ Juice
➼ Milkshakes
➼ Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor
➼ Sexy candle mood lighting, because I know Sims love that shit
➼ Functional Air-Conditioning
➼ Beverages, sodas, juices, energy drinks, iced coffees, etc..

It isn't really functional as a proper Cafe, because I was mainly just building it for display purposes to give the Gas Station a little more realism. You can always somehow, add the objects that you need in order for the Cafe to be functional, however, it may be a little difficult, given the space restraints. You can't have both the retail store and the Cafe on the one lot anyway... You can always just separate the Cafe from the Gas Station and add to it yourself on a new Lot, to make it functional. Not to dig so much at EA, but if we could have more than one venue at one lot, that would be amazing. Like, imagine if your Sims could go Bowling AND get some food other than the crappy bar fish and chips, AT THE SAME LOT. Fun. But I'm living in a fantasy.

THE FOOD TRUCK:

Same issue with this, it is mainly just for display purposes only and I struggled to even get it to be functional as a cafe anyway, given that it is on a platform and for some reason, Sims can't bare to order food, if the counter is on a foundation..... Plus getting a proper Chef Station in that tiny bitch would have been impossible. I don't care, it just looks SUPER fucking cute and adds a lot of personality and realism to the Gas Station. Your Sims can just grab a Coffee from the Gas Station and drink it near the Food Truck to make it look like it was from the Food Truck or Cafe, anyway. I don't care. Do what you want with the build, go nuts, have your Sims burn it down, for all I care! Use your imaginations - You'll be right.

The Lot is set to Retail, because the Gas Station is the main feature of this entire build. If you don't know how Retail works in The Sims at this stage, then I'm afraid you are a little fucking late to the party. Just make the objects on the shelving, etc, for sale. Remember to mark up all of the objects by 100%, because Gas Station products are worth more than gold. If we have to pay $10 for a disgusting Gas Station Sandwich and $20 for out-of-date Sushi, then so should your Sims!!

HOW TO DOWNLOAD:

• Click on the download link, which will direct you to Google Drive.
• Download the file(s) A pop-up may inform you that it cannot scan for viruses. Just press download anyway. My content DOES NOT have viruses, I promise.
• Once you have downloaded and UNZIPPED the file(s), drag the TRAY FILES (NOT THE ENTIRE FOLDER) into your TRAY folder. Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray
• Place the CC FOLDER into your MODS folder. Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 >Mods

The build, along with all of the CC, if downloaded correctly, should then appear in your "My Library" section inside your game, named "Newcrest Gas Station-Cafe" - ENSURE INCLUDE CUSTOM CONTENT BUTTON IS TICKED, otherwise it will NOT show up.
