Heya, I hope all is well with you guys!

Still pausing this month cos I’m sorting out family matters in September, and with my mum staying with us until Oct 25th, I can’t make comics until after that date. 

Family obligations comes first, but I’ll be more active posting chapters & artworks here after that’s done. 

Before Patreon charge your card on Oct 31st, I’m gonna share all the negative expectations below.

So if you’re staying and they don't materialize, you’ll be happy.

1. I can’t guarantee you’ll like the new chapter but hopefully you will

My proofreader was reading the black and white drawings of CH.92-94 (200+ panels) in one sitting and she likes it, but it took her less than 10 mins to read the whole thing.

Just a heads up that it may take you 5 mins if you’re a fast reader…

Some may find my updates to be a short read, unless you savor each panel and read it slowly.

2.  Updates frequency

TBH, I can’t color 200 panels in 1 month.

Ch.92 (45+ panels) should be ready in early November, and every time I finish coloring the next 20-30 panels, I’ll post it.

There is not set weekly or monthly schedule, just posting as soon as they’re finished. After around 100 panels fully colored, I will bundle them into one big PDF.

I won’t be posting 1 panel a month and run, cos I’d like you to understand more of the story in each update. 

I plan to finish CH.92-97 (approximately 500+ panels total) by April 2024.

After that, there may (or may not) be familial obligation I have to take care of, but that’s still up in the air.

3. ICYMI, this Patreon is no longer a monthly subscription service with NSFW perks.

I genuinely enjoy creating romance scenes when inspiration strikes naturally and when they serve a purpose in the story. However, if I were to turn this into a monthly obligation, it would drain the joy from my creative process.

So I've stopped using NSFW perks to entice people to my Patreon, as it often attracted scammers. After covid, dealing with such negativity isn't something I want to invest my mental energy in.

This Patreon more suitable for folks who have the means to support the comic. I’d love to create a small community of readers who share a similar mindset and tastes, whose expectations are met.
I feel very fulfilled when you enjoy reading MD :-)

Anyway, it's been a long hiatus, and I understand many are no longer reading. It’s a natural outcome of not updating for 2.5 years, but I don't regret taking this break because it was essential to heal from burnout. Life unfolds as it's meant to be.
