Sneak peek, wordy post-mortem & stuff (Patreon)

 #66&67 post-mortem

 Spoiler if you haven't read this update posted last month. 

In the beginning, the Chief mentioned that Zander's fighting style is similar to Cora. The agent who captured Zander got to go on the mission to capture Cora.

The key of #66&67 is for Cora to apply what she learned from North within the short period of time of knowing him, and use that save herself and him. If she never met North, she'd try to fight the baddies head on (cos that was the only thing she knew from Zander who taught her how to fight), and she probably got killed or worse.

In the fight with North, Zander didn't use any kind of tactic other than brute strength head on, and that led to his demise. When I posted this a while back, I only had my S.O. beta read it. Since we think alike, we thought it was obvious that this emotional Zander dude lost cos he's not very smart. He tried  to run away with the collar even after North explained how it works. So I didn't expect the amount of blowback of blaming North (who didn't know what his boss did) for Zander's death. I guess lots of people respond to emotion more than anything else?

Anyways, Zander's death is a major plot point, and it took almost two years to get some readers to stop hating North. Whoever still did probably stop reading a while back lol...

I used to use webtoon comments as feedback loop, but not anymore. Patrons feedback are enough :-) I also have two of my friends to help pointing out my blind spots. On key chapters, I asked a few long term patrons for early feedback before posting.

Just like the sex scenes, the fight scene is there to move the plot forward and reveal more about the characters. Imho, it's pointless to drag the fight scenes for more than 2 chapters. They are also very hard to plan and draw lol... I used to read a shonen webtoon with fight scenes that went on for over 20 chapters.. (that's 5 months?) I lost interest and never pick it back up lol...

In real life fights, it's not a good idea to get fancy like Jackie Chan for 10+ minutes lol. From my own experience training MMA for few years, I usually get my ass kicked the longer the sparring session goes on lol... Drawing badasses is more doable than being one irl lol..

After posting #65 this weekend, I might post a preview of the AU on webtoon. If it were up to me, I'd rather just write and draw whatever I post here and not bothered with promoting it.  Originally, I was about to get rid of it within a month.  But some of you said you dig the latest AU, which I didn't expect. :-)

If I don't  put a sample out, only you guys here know it existed. Figured I'll  throw it out there and see if anyone else like it too. But for now, I'm prioritizing going thru this list and get them all done by the end of the month.
