Using photo ref for drawing natural human pose (Patreon)

This is the process of how this panel is made, from the chapter when North was in the neighbor's home.

It's not possible for me to draw very natural human pose out of my head without spending too much time on it, so I use massive amounts of photo references on almost every panel of my comic.

I got the idea from this Japanese mangaka named Boichi. His art on Sun Ken Rock (a seinen manga I read on crunchyroll) was freakin phenomenal.
On one chapter he shared that he took photos of his assistants wearing black suits doing many fighting poses and use that as reference for his drawings.

I use a lot of google images for these human poses, but sometimes I just can't find an image that fits what I have in mind exactly.
So for these cases, I just took my own photo ref.

I don't have multiple assistants that can pose for me, but I have one beta reader who's willing to dress up and posed like a ken doll for my comic sometimes lol.
