Patreon Exclusive: Time Tenshi Concept Sketch 1 (Patreon)

Okay. As some of you might be aware, I was contracted by Silver Cow Studio to write the scripts for both Time Tenshi 2 and the rebooted Time Tenshi. You may also be aware that this reboot was panned rather hard on account that Silver Cow Studio dropped the breast expansion element that drew many fans in. So in spite of the fact that, even though there were people that praised my script, a lot of that base has been leaving over that element being removed.

I...I have mixed feelings about this.

On the one hand, I am angry. I legitimately gave my best efforts in making Time Tenshi 2020 the best game I could while operating within the limits set upon me. I'd like to think that I did my all to respect the source material and expand upon it. Clear up the plot holes from the original, flesh out the cast of characters better than the original had, and did my best to respect both the fans and the source material. And seeing those negative reviews by people that abandoned and returned the game on the bases that there were not growing boobs...that was painful for me. And that pain led to anger.

On the other hand, I know how much it hurts to have something important to you wrecking-balled by someone that simply doesn't care. I've seen what has been done to things such as Star Wars, Star Trek, She-Ra, and more. So I know how much it hurts when someone who simply doesn't care about a story and characters that you love is given the reins of that story and simply takes a massive dump on it because they just don't care about the story or the fans. And while I do think that there is a difference between what Kathleen Kennedy has done to Star Wars and what I did with Time Tenshi, I can understand people being upset. Because I've felt that myself.

Now I'm not a member of Silver Cow Studios. That being said, I've written and worked on these characters enough that I...I've really come to care about them. I hate the idea of just leaving Time Tenshi in this state. That's just how I am. So I've been working up some new design concepts and so on that I'm planning on sharing with SCS in hopes of winning back the fans. And this sketch in one of them.
