Okay, I know that this isn't my standard fare here, but...hear me out.

Not that long ago, I found out about an incident of cyberbullying revolving around a girl (don't know her age) on Twitter that goes by the handle of mad_diet who posted her own designs of two characters from the original 80s version of She-Ra on her Twitter page, only to be attacked for it. Basically, she was accused of "whitewashing" the characters of Mermista and Perfuma.

Now I am not going to get into debate about which show is better, nor am I going to tell anybody what they should like. I've learned the hard way that that sort of thing causes trouble and solves nothing. That being said, I hate bullies. Always have, always will. And I do hope that, regardless of our respective tastes, this is something we can all agree on.

A YouTuber that goes by the handle of Geeky Sparkles and is one of the hosts of the internet show Clownfish TV advocated people producing fanart of the OG incarnations of both Mermista and Perfuma as a means of showing support for mad_diet. And you know what? As a child of the 80's myself and a stated hater of bullies, I decided to toss my metaphorical hat into that ring. I've got a couple ideas on things I can make. I've already decided to make muscle art of some classic She-Ra characters, which I'm sure will please everyone here. But I also had another idea, one that I hope will be fun and that all of you will enjoy.

So far now, I leave you with this quick WIP preview of Frosta (who has been colored) and Perfuma (still working on the lineart). As for what's going on...I'm afraid you'll just have to wait and see.

I do like seeing art of the original She-Ra designs, pretty rare to see them these days

I know. I really do wish that the people behind He-Man 2002 had managed to get their own She-Ra series off the ground.
