Holding Off On Upfront Payment At Least Until Next Month (Patreon)

Okay. As you all know, I've been dealing with a situation where people make pledges to my Patreon, only to quickly look around at what I have up on this site and cancel their pledges the very same day, among other things. I've seen the same people doing this over and over again. This is a problem I've been looking for a solution, and at present, switching to an upfront payment system seems to be the only option. However, I am reluctant to do so, both because it would be a permanent change and because I don't want for any of you to be negatively impacted.

As such, I've decided to hold off on this at least until after the first of July, once all payments are made. That way, any Patrons that joined this month won't be impacted, and establishing an upfront payment system will only impact new Patrons. Also, this will give me more time to do research and find potential alternatives.

I am sorry about this. I would much rather not go through the trouble, or trouble you with this. But in the time since I made my initial announcement, I've had more people making and canceling pledges in the same day, among other shady practices. I won't name any names, but I am irritated by this practice. I hope you will understand.
