I can definitely say this with certainty... either you have years of experience in 3D modeling/rendering, or you're a true prodigy... or this sort of work isn't nearly as scary as people would have me believe. Come on, which is iiit? At any rate, I know as a wolverine she'd more than likely be fierce as hell... but I still wanna snuggle that fur so bad. ♥ I mean, on a second look... this doesn't even look like a render; it looks like an actual photo, at least to me. Damn impressive, it's really awesome seeing how you improve like this with each model!

Great work as usual. The setting of this image looks like an orthopedic mattress commercial: "Our mattresses are as tough as a wolverine and as soft as her fur". :)

Its probably the 3rd one tbh. I don't really know how quickly people learn a program like this if they are really into it so not sure about the prodigy bit. as for the experience I imagine my experience with Photoshop transfers to 3D artistically anyway, as blender still has a bunch of things I have to get used to. Trust, the nature nurture thing is something I think about a lot and I always like to imagine that its more nurture (practice and such) as apposed to nature (being gifted). probably an amalgamation of the two.
