Zup ya'll, this Kinge. Looking ahead, what should we tackle next?

We haven't recorded a convo in a minute which pains me but here's what we have in the pipeline to tackle:

1. Bambaata's molestation allegations

2. Azealia Banks Twitter Suspension

3. Did No Limit Ruin Hip Hop?

4. 80Hates and Heartbreaks - Kinge and Myke long overdue debate

5. MidYear Review

We're doing a disservice to hip hop if we don't tackle the Bambaata allegations. I feel as if we are at our best when we discuss real issues such as this one.

Banks is one that has me and Myke on the opposite end of the argument. We debated the issue on Twitter in a limited capacity with Kno and Sadistic but we both feel that there is more to say and more to argue. That one should be great. We passionately disagree.

The No Limit convo is centered around their mass production of albums. If you look at hip hop now, we are saturated with album after album sometimes from the same artists (i.e. Curren$y). My question is, did they usher in a mass production of music at a low quality threshold. I think it's interesting.

Mid year is self explanatory.

Any thing you all have for us to discuss? I feel like we've gotten away from convos and are very review heavy. We need to tackle more topics and if you all have some that are good, I'd love to hear them. Peace.

Anonymous

80Hates and Heartbreaks lol.

Anonymous

Bambaata's molestation allegations or a discussion on whether or not Jay-Z (or hip hop) should/needs to respond with his version of "Lemonade"

deadendhiphop

Myke and I sit on the opposite side of this one. We're both anxiously waiting to do it.

Anonymous

Hip hop artist, albums or songs that have had an impact on society and how.

Hey, thx for asking. Tbh, everything you listed sounds interesting. I'm with you about the importance of the convos, so Id be happy to get most, if not all of the stuff you listed. Bambaata seems like the most important one, Id love an informed opinion, since my knowledge about him and the situation is very limited to say the least. 808s would be awesome. I absolutely love it (dislike Kanyes last 2 though), but would be very interested to hear what you gotta say.

Anonymous

Hey was good y'all... First off I love y'all reviews y'all do a real good job and i can tell y'all love it i would like to see 808s and heartbreaks tho lol i really wanna see the different opinions surrounding that album that i actually liked

Anonymous

definitely wanna hear the bambaata discussion and the 808. then no limit and then azelia

Anonymous

Y'all should review Torae-Entitled. That's long overdue

Anonymous

The 808s convo would be classic Haha. But whatever y'all do im sure will be great, all the topics are interesting. Would have loved an Aesop review but I know myke already did one.

Anonymous

808's & Heartbreak has to be the next conversation it's been long overdue.

Anonymous

Either 4 1 or 2 Heartbreaks can wait only bcuz the other two are more current at this point 808 can wait alil bit longer but i still wanna see it

Anonymous

Bambaata would be best for a serious topic to get out of the way but you guys gotta make sure the 808 debate still goes down because that's gonna be gold

Anonymous

80Hates and heartbreaks is what I'm anticipating the most. Both myke and kinge are very passionate speakers and it would awesome to see them go back and forth lol

Anonymous

808 & Heartbreak

Anonymous

I would say 4 or 5

Anonymous

Definitely the 808s & heartbreak. Also what do you guys think of the billboard award going to Meek?

Anonymous

That part school boy q feat kanye

Anonymous

A track review

Anonymous

808s and heartbreaks would be awesome. But honestly I'm sure any of them will be great

Anonymous

Bambaata

Anonymous

No Limit one sounds really interesting!

Anonymous

I think Bambaata would be good because it's something recent. Azealia Banks is too but I personally don't find it interesting. Mid year is coming regardless but it can wait as its not July yet. The other two are good topics that's should be covered sometime eventually. I'd love to see 808's though. I think some of Dehh best and funniest videos are when Myke and Kinge go back and forth on something they disagree on. Plus it would kind of serve as a classics review which I think some fans miss.

Anonymous

Also for a music review I think Skepta's new album would be cool too see especially since you guys mentioned you have a big UK following. Might bring in more grime fans?

Anonymous

I like the 808s idea a lot . No limit. & you guys have to do mid years its tradition

Anonymous

Either the mid year review or the long overdue 808's review... I feel like that would be hilarious lol

Anonymous

3 and 4 I feel would both make for great discussions, but they can be done at any time really, so i'd say save them for another day. The Bambata allegations are one's that definitely need to he talked about, but i'm not sure what else their is to say and if you could realistically talk about that for longer then 10 minutes without repeating yourselves, so i'd say do a Mid year review. Do number 5.

4, 1, 5, 2, 3 in order of one's I'd like to see most. Also I have a suggestion for a convo. Kanye West has been updating the Life Of Pablo's songs with newer versions on streaming services. What do you guys think of this? Is it a good way to keep the fans excited or should released music not be altered? And do you think more artists will start doing this?

Anonymous

Please do 808s. Been waiting a while for y'all to discuss it. Love the channel. Keep up the great work guys!

Anonymous

808s. I need to hear this.

No limit discussion

Anonymous

Man y'all gotta do Bambaatta but really the No Limit Convob is a great idea and since everyone else is covering Bam maybe we can spend more time on No Limit. No Limit had a bigger impact then Bam honestly. Sounds crazy but I had moved From Miami to Orlando further in to , or closer to Deep South and folks here were on that heavy!! Before it was Nationwide. I could see the polar opposite of what i thought Hip Hop could be. Those beats were Jamming!!

Anonymous

You know a Topic similar to that is how the Houston sound and Culture is all over the charts, the Streets, And the SoundCloud Artists Drake,Future,Asap Rocky, Juicy J, Rich Homie, Wayne , Stalley , and to an extent Krit , And Wale . That's at least 10 who in ways use parts of Houston. People don't realize it but True fans of H Town Culture Pre Major Labels and Source Cover know what I mean. Me since 99/2000 I was late on Screwed Up Click but Swishahouse was blowing up Crazy Independantly. Thev whole Rap Sung Hooks is a staple of H. Lean, Riding Slabs,(different then Lowrider of CA and Miami Bass scene ) , the baller Rap, and if i can quote the Almighty King Koopa AKA Mixtape Messiah AKA Houston's finest" If wanna get rich, go buy you Some Swishahouse stocks/ Go Get some Swishahouse socks / Go get some new shoes, Put Swishahouse on top of your Reeboks/ and if it ain't platinum or Gold it didn't come from Micheal Watts " (another track Simply) "If i would have known i would purchased Stock in Styrofoam Cups Hold Up!" That last line was at least 2012. The first was 99. They all predicted it, even Screw.

Anonymous

To add I think it's cool but H Town deserves its credit. They are very Honored to be a part of mainstream after the originators but should have due credit. Paul wall spoke on that on Vlad Recent

Anonymous

808s but I still think there should be a midyear like there always is.

Anonymous

I feel that the Bambaata situation definitely needs to be tackled. It would be a very interesting and important discussion that needs to happen and I would love to hear you all thoughts regarding that but I also like the idea of the No Limit discussion as well. I think that one will be one that no one is really expecting and it is very important to hip hop since they did set the blueprint in a way for over saturation in hip hop whether people want to believe it or not.

Yeah i agree i loved convos. Honestly as a Supporter since near the start i am finally growing a bit accustomed to the Reviews. Maybe it's just this year for me cause Im still listening to 2015 Music and older. 2016 Barely moved me except for a short few

1, 5, & 3 in that order

deadendhiphop

Soooooo many comments. Sooooo freaking awesome.

deadendhiphop

Bam is more timely. No Limit is one to use when there isn't something more serious and urgent worth discussing.

deadendhiphop

Oh we're going to do Azealia Banks. Myke and Ken disagree heavily on what happened to her. We hope to record that this month.
