Im surprised at Myke. It's like it was his first time hearing that it was concensus that tical wasn't a classic album. I think it is but there are more hip hop heads thinking like b than myke

I was one of those ppl who use to think fresh prince was corny so i wasnt fuckin with them at that time....but i remember around 90, my old babysitter knew i liked rap and she had this tape....she didn't like rap so she gave me the tape....i was like, aiight....I'll take it.....the song that made me respect will smith's pen was the title song....when he said "I'll dropkick a hurricane, bodyslam a tidal wave, go thru a tornado, or a volcano....but I'll be ok tho and here some more info that you rappers should know".....i was like NIIIIGGA....this album was dope af....and it kinda aged well....

I also think tical’s a classic people trip cause they compare it to the other solos which are some of the best hip hop albums ever made

January 1st 1988. Dope!!! Like just to hop into the time machine one time and too start from 88. Did anyone know the greatness too come? Just in that year alone!!! Kinda feels like hip hop right now!! Classics dropping every week!!

I just turned 28 like two weeks ago, pride myself as a hip hop historian and have always been interested in the history since I was 11, listened to any classic I could around that time, and I just learned so much from this video. Never knew much about The Fresh Prince and Jazzy other than obviously the show, and that Jazzy was a great DJ by reputation, and that they made Summertime lol. Thank you guys for this, and shoutout to both Jazzy J and Will I have to listen to this album now
