Mutation Results! (Patreon)

Hope all of you are having a fabulous day! If not, hopefully this post could lift your mood a little.

So, the results for Harry's mutation are here! From lowest voted to highest voted, here are the options that were listed:

Telepathy: 0

Shapeshifting: 1

Weather Control: 1

Super Strength: 2

Super Speed: 2

Magnetism: 2

Accelerated Healing: 4

Solar Absorption: 5

Telekinesis: 8

Matter Manipulation: 20

Shadow Manipulation: 27

Time Control: 43

And our grand winner is......yep, you saw it, Time Control!

I'd already said this was my own favorite choice as well, though I didn't say why. 

It's because apart from being a very powerful ability, It also gives a major power that Harry could never have produced using his Magic+System combo. 

Like, there's transfiguration and transmutation to gain a limited Matter manipulation. The maxed out levitation charm could give limited Telekinesis, then there are direct spells for Telepathy and weather control etc. etc. 

Maybe the Lvl 100 of Arresto Momentum could let him slowdown time, or I could cause some time-turner freak accident to give him such powers, but it would've been a pain in the arse to arrange. I could slip in a shadow magic book in restricted library for him to learn some things, without it seeming like a full-blown wish-fulfillment, but I just couldn't justify Time magic.

So I'm glad with the choice.

Also, I'm not quite sure about this but what do you lot think of a secondary mutant power? Not pulling outta my ass as there are mutants like Emma frost and Franklin Richards (op bastard this one) with multiple powers, but it seems a bit too much for a mutant wizard. But again, he's also a gamer, so some event or quest granting a secondary mutation could be very easy to include. Let me know in the comments or discord, or if I should make a poll for this.
