Do you still remember her? I gave her a paper boat like captain hat back then. I scrapped that version because I did not like the shape of her hat. At the end, I eventually went with her hat-less and with hair that resembles a shark fin.

I like strong edgy shapes, especially when it comes to the character's hair. Now I feel more comfortable with her current design. The only thing that still needs some tweaks is her overall color scheme. On the one hand, the turquoise edges of her clothes looks too similar to Hatsune Miku's design from the Vocaloid franchise. On the other hand, all the blue tones make her color palette a bit too monotonic, so I am still testing out some variations. But overall, I'm already very happy about her new design. I'm already planning to do more scene artworks with her.

In another old sketch she was wielding too blades that resembled a kebap knife. I ultimately scrapped that idea, because I decided that these weapons and her old hat would suit another upcoming OC more than Sharkeira's design.
