Darkness, one of the main characters from the Light Novel and anime Konosuba.

Work in progress of an on-going commission. The hardest part was getting the front view of her straight, since I am really not good at drawing symmetrical front views of characters. But it was a good practice and my client was very kind in letting me decide, if I feel comfortable enough to draw it, so I went for it because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone a bit.

I skipped the first drawing steps, as seen in the video, mainly because I haven't thought of recording the process at that point (the commission inquiry came in around a time months ago, where I wasn't determined to record my drawing process yet), and it would have been the most boring part because it took quite a lot of trial and errors to get the mirroring symmetrical pose right. So this video started at the core shaping process of Darkness's look. I already drew her eyes at the beginning, so I only activated her layer during the visible recording stage.
