Work on the prologue pages has been going smoothly so far. But since I'm changing the order of the pages frequently as I swap out pages and scenes along the way to improve the narrative, I've finally decided to create a new kind of post that I'll call panel previews. This way I can present you with much more new progress without confusing you with unfinished pages and non-chronological scenes, since I won't have to keep changing page numbers.

My prologue chapter is divided into three acts.

• Character introduction
• Monster invasion
• Climax fight and murder case opening

The above scene takes place during the invasion act and provides an opportunity to introduce the reader to some monster facts and a few starter rules of the magic system. I want to use this scene primarily to show a nice variation of the monster designs. In my preview they still look a bit weird and harmless, but soon they will hopefully turn into fierce looking evil creatures once I add some dirty textures to them.
