[Chapter 1] HD page 5 - Status Report (WIP) (Patreon)

Getting quicker with my lineart recently. I'm switching between 3 different outline brushes for different shading and cross-hatching techniques, so drawing feels more intuitive and smoothly now.

I felt like the previous character dialogues of the introduction pages were a bit dull because of the character's designs, so I decided to integrate another OC of mine who was supposed to appear in the later arcs with an interesting design.

Her name is Violess Videllaty. She is a so-called Defense Detector Operator (short operator). Her integration and character swap was a very spontaneous decision to make the work on the first pages more interesting for me, but soon I wrote some scenes for her as a key witness in the first murder case from the upcoming chapters and realized bit by bit that she was a perfect fit for her role in this arc.

Her design was inspired by a character from the series Stranger Things.
