[HD Manga WIP] Chapter 1 - Page 06: Abyss Mantis & United Nations (Patreon)

A preview part of page 6 of the prologue. This was a reworked version of former page 5 (page order moved one number forward because I added the new cover page with number 4).

You can see the old version of the page below. I already knew that I was about to change the design of the monster mantis, it was already considered a temporary design. I gave it a redesign with a skull theme for story-related reasons now. My hope was to make its appearance more intimidating, but it is really hard to judge as someone who still lacks experience with creature designs. This won't be the last time we see this thing.

I also decided to rework the emblem designs of the old flags that represent the two Welucian nations. This will be the merged flag after the peace treaty between both nations. The page before this one will depict a slightly different design of the beasts on the emblems to provide  a stronger visualization of the changed alignment.
