[HD Manga Chapter 1] Page 4 - Cover Illustration (WIP) (Patreon)

When I struggled with my decision of placing the title logo on the double page 2-3 because I did not like the combination of the logo and the speech bubbles, I eventually thought it would be best to separate them and make another extra cover page. So I drew unconscious Shariya frozen in a big chunk of chaos crystals so that the reader get a closer look of her design from the double page. I am still not sure about her cuffs though and her skeletal shackles. Maybe  will tweak them a bit, but overall I am mostly satisfied with the composition.

This cover illustration is heavily inspired by one of the first scenes in the CLAMP manga Chobits where the main character finds Chii who is tied up with bandages.
