This is a lineart illustration which I initially planned for the upcoming Mega Man anniversary. Though, since this is one of the most stressful months I've ever gone through I doubt I will find the time to finish the coloration process.

I really like how Dr. Wily turned out. It's hard to say why drawing old dudes makes so much fun. Probably because their facial shapes have more edges and shades, lol.

The overall process of the composition was very challenging because some character have certain design elements that only look good from a specific side and angle. At the beginning of the process the constellation was split in two groups: Good and bad characters, allies and enemies. It was important for me to keep Mayl close to Lan, because I always prefer compositions where the love interest has a position near to the protagonist. In the end the character were all over the place and I only focused on shapes and surfaces, to make the overall composition not too noisy.
