I always have a heart for forgotten oldschool RPGs and that's why I always get excited when I get the chance to do a commission including characters from older game series.

That one was for one of my regular clients who has a similar quirk when it comes to fanart. They pay special attention to characters from their favorite but rather unknown franchises and therefore also draw fanarts dedicated to those underdog series. Just the fact alone that there aren't many people who are familiar with certain titles can be already my motivation to do more respective fanarts. Golden Sun for instance would be one of those titles which gets a fanart by me from time to time. It is already a big achievement if someone gets curious and interested just by looking at the illustration on my social media. I think fan works dedicated to all kind of pop culture are a wonderful and also powerful tool to provide a big signal boost and it is a very simple way to help indie creators and small game studios out with the promotion of their brands.
